Agent ONE Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 "WOW" is right, that thing is SO AWESOME. Now if he can only fit that thing to drop napalm on people at ourdoor malls. Quote
Knight26 Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Nice but I doubt that his "afterburners" do much to improve thrust, they probably just eat up his fuel way faster than those mini-turbines already do. Also it doesn't look like the wings fold much, I think they are just springloaded, but still that is nice. Quote
reddsun1 Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 That's pretty dang cool. Have you seen the R/C B-52? That thing is--or was--friggin huge! 8 engines making about 12lbs thrust ea. Dang near big enough to carry a man in the air with it. Unfortunately it crashed big at a demo in England, IIRC. That site you linked is pretty cool. I even found these... http://gprime.net/video.php/japaneseschwarzenegger1 http://gprime.net/video.php/japaneseschwarzenegger2 What The Fu... Quote
myk Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Cool stuff...I was heavily into that until I crashed my SIG Kadet Jr. a few years back.... Cool video also, but lose the "Danger Zone" track....LOL Quote
Kin Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 (edited) heheh kewl... saw this movie from an old topic here. I considered building an RC Legioss, with ducted fan's, vertical/forward flight. Gonna get some depron material to build it fromscratch. Edited August 14, 2005 by Kin Quote
wolfx Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Man...i heard flying a R/C helicopter isn't as easy as it looks....flying a fighter plane has gotta be hard..... Landing it as well..... Oh it has VF-1 on its undercarriage. Quote

Wes Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Is it a good set-up? Yes. Is it anything special? Not really, just must have cost a bit. Still doesn't have the "WOW Factor" everybody's favorite R/C does: Flying Lawnmower Quote
