kanedaestes Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Mine are films and cartoons from my childhood, like the last unicorn, short circuit 1 and 2 and etc...but my most recent guilty pleasure has a retarded rapper, a latin hottie doing yoga, and ben affleck. That's right gigli, I though it was funny as hell, I'm so ashamed, I have so great taste in movies, but I just love this one for some odd reason, i mean it was christopher walken and al pacino what's not to love Quote

Flaming Guantlet Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Many of you have already mentioned my picks but... *dons kelvar armor* there is one film that made my top pick but makes everyone else puke, and it so happenes to be .... Street Fighter: The Movie ...I am SO going to hell for this. Quote
Duke Togo Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 I am a little confused, as more than a few movies mentioned here are not what one would consider "guilty pleasure" movies. Some were not just commercial hits, but critical hits as well. Quote
Isamu Atreides 86 Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Career Opportunities 318269 Is that the one with Jennifer Connelly locked in a Target store after hours? I liked that one also. Quote
Guest Bromgrev Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 I'm suprised no one has mentioned evil dead 1 and 2 and army of darkness. 318295 That would be because those three films rock! I feel NO guilt (even when my wife can see me) when I watch them. Again. And again, and again ... Quote

Nightbat Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 How could this be a quilty pleasure? Why would you feel guilty for enjoying such a classic? As far as I know, everyone with a working brain enjoys Spinal Tap" 318446 Yeah, I know, but it's made to look bad thruth to the matter: some bands (Dio amongst them) were outraged by some of the scenes in the movie since it hit a little too close to home Quote
Ghadrack Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Since I love bad movies, I don't know how to answer, I don't really feel guilty watching them A few of the bad but good ones I love: Student Bodies Baseketball Visitor Q Cannibal the Musical Beware! Children at Play Quote

Greyryder Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Some of these aren't bad, just under rated. The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai: Across the Eigth Dimension Beastmaster (the first one, not the sequels) The Howling (see above) Wolfen The Last Starfighter The Goonies Leviathon (Best Alien rip off, ever made) Screamers Robocop League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (probably helps, that I've never read the comics) The Princess Bride Spaceballs Robin Hood: Men in Tights Phantasm 2 (can you say "chainsaw fight?") Macross 2: Lovers Again (Last good variable fighter design. the Mac+ mechs suck) There are probably others, and I'll post them as I remember them. Quote
