AssembleThis Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 (edited) Alright, most gundam models I've done, I always do a base paint, and line the panels with a Micron 0.25mm marker. Otherwise, I never knew weathering the gundam models too good. I nabbed this HQ strike gundam cheap, so I figured, this would be good to test it with. So, I was wondering if anyone here could give me a guid to weathering the gundam model? I know theres the 1/60 Strike thread below, but, its much different. Also not to explanitory for weathering. So, if anyone can help, I'd appriciate it. Typoe in the thread title, was supposed to be "HG" Edited July 24, 2005 by AssembleThis Quote
kaiotheforsaken Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 well believe it or not i use good ol' mechanical pencil. as long as the paint isn't a super gloss finish you can create some very sweet looking affects with just some rubbing and smudging of the lead, spray with clear coat when your done and the stuff pretty much never goes away. theres much better techniques than this obviously but it works for me.
