Mr March Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Looks spot on so far. I've seen the schematics in the B5 Security Manual and your models are very accurate as far as I can tell. Looking forward to the finished model. Quote
Isamu Atreides 86 Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 I always loved that ship. Both the StarFury and the ground attack one were pretty awesome. it looks good, and i'll be interested to see it!! Quote
cobywan Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 The top wing ROCKS! Great job so far. I like the renderings of the wing a lot. What are you rendering with? I have been looking to simulate the look of those wing shots and I just haven't gottent here yet. The best results I got yet were with Maxwell but I just havent taken the time lately to get it to look better. Quote
wwwmwww Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Very very cool. I love it. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see more. Carl Quote
chrono Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Rodavan, this is looking sweeter and sweeter with every update and without a doubt be one of the most quality Starfury's built to date! It'll be even MORE awsome when you finally get it 'printed' and molds built for the kit! *hint, hint* Quote
Doktor Gonzo Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 The beauty of this, Rod, is that your 'Fury is almost certainly smoother and more detailed than the original 3D mesh... Quote
Godzilla Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 That looks great. Now add some color. Quote
Mr March Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Oh this is looking sooo good so far. I've seen plenty of fan-made, 3D Starfury models over the years and this is appears on the road to compete with the best of em. I hope the final result is as good as the WIP pictures. Then come, the custom paint schemes Quote
Rodavan Posted September 13, 2005 Author Posted September 13, 2005 Thanks for all comments guys There is stil some detailing to be done ... but we are getting there Quote
Rodavan Posted September 21, 2005 Author Posted September 21, 2005 (edited) Small update -- Engine is angled correctly , "flaps" @ back of engine placed and fixed . I also did smooth blend between wing and engine. Edited September 21, 2005 by Rodavan Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 Looking really good so far!!! Quote

Beltane70 Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 I swear, half of the time I look at the pictures of this project, I think they're actual plastic models, and not CG! Quote
wwwmwww Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Keeps getting better and better. Very nice work. Carl Quote
buffalobob77 Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Really nice work! From the looks of things this is going to look way better than the one on the show. Quote
