Chas Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Hey Folks, I'm planning to modify a couple of kits to make them more articulated and I can't think of a substitute (an abundent substitute) to use as a source for polycaps. Has anyone hear found something to use, or have you heard of anything? Im just getting into modelling again, so my scraps box is really non-existent at this point, so I don't have any spare ones. promethuem5 Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Check out hobby link Japan, there are a few companies that sell them.... Quote
Chas Posted June 22, 2005 Author Posted June 22, 2005 Wow! I didn't think they would be sold just on their own, but since you mention it, it makes so much sense. Thanks! Quote
fulcy Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Yes, check www.hlj.com - they are made by companies Wave and Kotobukiya. There are many different variations, and other types of greebles and such, so go check them out! Quote
Chas Posted June 22, 2005 Author Posted June 22, 2005 OMG! Talk about abundance! Now i just have to figure out which sizes and types I need. Thanks so much guys. (I Love these boards!) Quote
Ido Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 I suggest to buy them from http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/english/index.html For modeling supplies they have better stock, they are faster and they can ship your order with airmail too. Quote
THOR Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 If I can't find exactly what I need at HLJ or wherever, I use black rubber hose from: http://www.mcmaster.com/ Click on rubber tubing Quote
