Pat S Posted June 22, 2005 Author Posted June 22, 2005 (edited) Haha, I was just showing that it could get into stances that the Aoshima cannot. Edited June 22, 2005 by Pat S Quote
GobotFool Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 hey pat, how is it in terms of detail compared to the aoshima? Quote
Pat S Posted June 22, 2005 Author Posted June 22, 2005 Just looking at the pics (I don't have one yet), it's just slightly less detail in the head. I doubt I'll be complaining. Quote
drifand Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 The legs sure look more poseable than the 1/6 Aoshima diecast version. I guess those thigh pistons don't get in the way as much. Just for comparison, here's a couple of pix of my own modified Aoshima: Quote

Pat S Posted August 1, 2005 Author Posted August 1, 2005 (edited) Sorry about the Alien head pic. I was posting and talking on the phone at the same time. Also, goodbye Aoshima, it's going on eBay. Edited August 1, 2005 by Pat S Quote
Mr March Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 This looks a lot better than the other T-800 for articulation, but I'm not too crazy about the scale. I've already got a few products that are big and they are just more hassle than they are worth sometimes (like the Matrix Sentinels). Last exception I'm going to make is the Aoshima Dropship Quote
cobywan Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Where are you guys finding them. I've been looking for them for over a month now. I think I'm just going to have to buy blind on Ebay. Quote

I just thought that was wierd and a waste of my time searching. Quote
Pat S Posted August 4, 2005 Author Posted August 4, 2005 (edited) After playing around with this thing, and comparing, I'm absolutely sure they copied the Aoshima Endoskeleton. Certain things like the shoulder blades having springs are good indicators. Every single detail that's in the Aoshima is in the NECA, even the tiniest little marks and lines. They removed all the die cast, and added light up eyes, and moving hip joints. It is really pretty cool, it can stand on it's own, but only in a few poses, the non adjustable rear foot ball thing is to blame. For $40 though, this is quite a bargain. I'm sure they looked at everything that was ever made before going into production. Quote
Pat S Posted August 4, 2005 Author Posted August 4, 2005 I thought about that, but even two artists looking at the same pictures are going to pick out different details, but everything is the same on these two. The hands have the same amount of like 20 degree movement side to side, the shoulderblades for no reason have springs on them that allow them to be pried out on the inside edge, then the spring snaps them back. They both have this. All the joints move in the same ways. Quote
Knight26 Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Check these out, I'd almost think about getting the Reese figure it weren't so expensive. T-800 Figure Reese Figure Quote
Pat S Posted August 8, 2005 Author Posted August 8, 2005 I've seen some close up pics of these figures, they're really impressive. I read that they are very limited in quantity. Quote
