Lonely Soldier Boy Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Hi everybody! There are practically zero Macross toy dealers where I live, and I should go to the San Diego Comic Con on July for work, so I'd rather buy them there instead of buying them online and save the shipping. Thing is, despite how big it is and the fact that Yamato America will have a stand, I'm not sure if I'm going to find any 1/48's, Q-Raus or K. Monsters at the show. Does anyone knows of a Yammie retailers Attending, or some retailer on the area? Thanks again, guys. -Lucas- Quote
hirohawa Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 I beleive Seichi is goin to be there with alot of Macross stuff. Quote
EXO Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 (edited) Seichi will and he'll have tons of stuff. He said to make sure you tell him your from MW. BTW. Shawn will be manning the booth also... Edited June 20, 2005 by >EXO< Quote

1 VF-1 2NV Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Yep, Seichi will be there with the stuff we didn't get from him today. And more I'm sure. What kind of stuff did Seichi have to sell at the MWCON ? Quote
Mechamaniac Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Tons of books, even more tons of model kits (resin, and poly) some 1/60 valks, some CM's figs (Minmay, Millia) and at absolutely sick LOW prices. Quote
EXO Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Considering he paid so much to get them shipped, Seichi didn't raise the price and sold to us at a discounted price. A true gentleman! Quote

1 VF-1 2NV Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Seiichi is staying in the US until Comic Con???Noel Yeah, inquiring minds want to know. ALso Seichi, if you're reading this maybe some of us who can't attend SDCC and didn't attend MWCON, would be willing to buy what is left before you make your trip back home, no? Quote
xstoys Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Seiichi is returning to Japan on Tuesday 6/21/05 & coming back to the US for San Diego Comic-Con in July. Most of his items are vintage items. It is unlikely he will ship too many 1/48's or larger sized Macross items. His inventory consists of mainly vintage books & models (plastic & resin). Quote

Lonely Soldier Boy Posted June 22, 2005 Author Posted June 22, 2005 (edited) Wow! Thanks for the news. Can anyone tell me exactly which booth is Seichi's so I can run straight to it the first day? Edit: Is there a way to get in touch with him and ask him for some particular items? (tho' I'll probably end up buying everything ) Edited June 22, 2005 by Lonely Soldier Boy Quote
nightmareB4macross Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Oh and let not forget clear 1/48 fast packs for $30.00. Of course, I bought a set. Quote
DARKWIND Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 I may just rear my head too, since this will be like the first time I've had a chance to meet up with any of the MW gang!! Quote
xstoys Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 (edited) Just FYI , incase you hadn't heard, Seiichi WILL NOT BE selling at SDCC. Apparently, the dealer tables were over booked & SDCC failed to notify Shawn about it until recently. Because of this drawback, Seiichi unfortunately will not be selling in San Deigo; but do keep an eye out for his web store coming soon. Edited July 14, 2005 by xstoys Quote

doodler7 Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Hi Gang, Just out of topic here ... I happened to stumble on the Toynami display cases at the 2005 Comic Con and saw a test figure for the Beta Fighter (VBF-9?). I'm not sure if this has been posted already, but here are some photos taken with my cell phone. Better and higher resolution images should be popping out soon on the net. The figure is close to 12" inches tall and pretty buff. What do you guys think, is this Toynami figure worth the purchase?
