Apollo Leader Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 (edited) http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/05/24/news_6126435.html I just picked up my copy this evening. Not including Metal Slug Advance from a few months back, this is my first Metal Slug game since Metal Slug X for the PS1. I also have the Japanese Sega Saturn version of the original Metal Slug. Pick this one up before Sony changes its mind again! Edited May 26, 2005 by Apollo Leader Quote

My spam is more along the lines of "cum gallons all over her" and "viagra without a perscription." ... Sadly, this e-mail account was recieving spam before I ever used it. Quote
Zentrandude Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 yah im bit lucky on that part. the spam i get is mainly video game advertisements and the you may qualify for a home loan. Quote

Hoptimus Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 I think I will hold out for the Xbox version in June since it will have the scoreboards. I was number 8 on the Metal Slug 3 boards for a month till I started slacking. Plus MS3 is a damn hard game lol. Quote
Solscud007 Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 no its not. I have the PS2 import version. ITs not hard. Quote
JB0 Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 (edited) did these ever come out in the arcades? *blinks* I'm not sure how to take this. I HOPE it's a joke... But if it isn't... Yes. All the Metal Slug games to date, with the exception of the 2 NGPC and 1 GBA game, have started in the arcades, on SNK'S NeoGeo hardware. Edited May 27, 2005 by JB0 Quote
Solscud007 Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 I hope SNK does a metal Slug for PSP. Like a museum or something that would be cool kinda like Namco museum Quote

Hoptimus Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 no its not. I have the PS2 import version. ITs not hard. The Xbox one is. They made it so you can only continue at levels and not where you die . That means you really have to learn the levels if you want to make it through them. It makes it much harder but also extends the life since if you want to beat it you have to practice and learn the levels. Quote

Hoptimus Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 LMAO. SNK is in no situation to buy Sony. That would be cool though. Quote

Hoptimus Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 Yeah for some reason SNK USA did that on MS3 on Xbox. They got alot of emails about that lol. The newer titles they stopped. I have a PS2 but like I said I like the online scoreboards in the Xbox versions. Quote

Macross_Fanboy Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 Hmm, I hope the NEX has it in stock, although I somehow doubt that, if not I'll go ahead and buy Revenge of the Sith for PS2. Quote
NSJ23 Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 I'm not a big SNK fan but I always enjoyed this series. I bought my copy today and love it. Quote
