Looks good,but come on, you shouldn't mix a masterpiece yamato 1/48 with a ((mp©)rap toynami .

It's expensive though . Don't think it will sell . On the other hand, I've seen some weird auctions lately.

i rarely use ebay and don't know much about the intricacies of auctions, but i would think that he could get more money by breaking down that lot into individual item sales.

He could get more money for Rick and Roy MPCs if he sold them separately. The Ben, Max and Miriya wouldnt fetch MSRP. They Yammie and Battlepod he could get a lot of money...

eh, it actually happens a lot. someone rediscovers their love for macross/robotech, they open an ebay acct., catch auction fever, realizes how much he actually spent, then breaks down and start selling everything. its happened to many of members here.

either that or he had a extra roy lying around and hes dumping the MPC's cause he realized it was the worst toy purchase ever made.

Still I am obligated to keep my VF-1S Roy MPC (it's a gift from my wife). It was the first valkyrie she ever bought me. Also I still think it looks great (dodges flying stones).

I have only taken it out once, transformed it once and placed it back in the respective boxes. I do enjoy it, it reminds me of where it all began for me...from RT...then to MACROSS FOREVER.

the only items in that lot that i would want to buy are the Yammie and the Matchbox Invid. The others don't appeal at all.

How is that BP toy? I just snagged one for like 20 bucks and am curious as what to expect. Oh, and I got the two male power armor figs as well... how are they?

The Battlepod toy from the 80s Matchbox line really isn't bad. By no means is it great but considering some of the garbage that got released along side of it I think it's stands out as one of the better items. The Officer's Pod is also pretty nice. The male power armors on the other hand... well, let's just say they don't stand out so much.

Haha, fair enough... I did it for the Battle pod mainly anyways... how hard is it to find an Officer's Pod?

MPC x 6 even at $80 would only be $480

1/48 x 2 at $150 each(and thats a stretch) would only be $300

so why would anyone pay $1000?

if he gets $1000 for it, i'll eat my valk.

I think the winner gets the bookends as well. That would explain the high price. Those are going for a couple hundred on evil-bay.

the battlepod looks pretty crap....if you want a good battlepod i'd suggest the 1/72 that's being sold in the model forum now. with a little work it won't be hard to get some articulation into the legs if you absolutely want it.
