Legend of TSXer Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Yah my quick hunt ended up crappishly. Though I didnt try as hard like for Destiny. Let us know??????? Quote
Fort Max Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 Just watched it and it was pretty good, very classy animatioon and a no. of real wow! moments when the screen was filled with fighting. Interesting story as well, I look forward to the next one, whenever that may be. Quote
F360° Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 (edited) Here's the link for the cellphone^2 fansub of ep 1 _Mobile_Suit_Gundam_-_MS_igLoo_01_(DVD_848x480)_[F3BB8BB2].avi.torrent"]http://evanidus.ath.cx:7420/torrents/[Cell...B2].avi.torrent I check those older raw links on the first page and both still works. Father Jack Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 (edited) groovy thanks That was great. Can't wait for the second episode. Edited June 12, 2005 by Father Jack Quote
wolfx Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 Just watched it. Apart from multi-colored explosions, i thought it was pretty good. The morse-code mono-eye was abit weird as well. I don't get it....why do they have to use "light-code" sometimes (due to minovsky particles) and sometimes they can just talk directly over radio transmission? Zakus pwning EF ships was really great to watch. Quote
Anubis Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 I loved seeing Char do his Red Comet manuever. The Zakus looked awesome. Quote

the white drew carey Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 (edited) I don't get it....why do they have to use "light-code" sometimes (due to minovsky particles) and sometimes they can just talk directly over radio transmission? IIRC (and maybe my memory is coming from the novelizations and, therefore, this might not be canon), sometimes video transmission was an option via a laser beam transmission onto a receptor. The downside to this is that it needed to be accurately set up and then maintained and, even then, could produce a bad signal. Therefore, when ships are moving in all different directions at high speeds, it is more prudent simply to use visual morse than trying to set up a laser beam transmission*. *book spoiler (highlight to read) This is how Amuro Rey eventually buys the farm in the novelizations, by setting up the Gundam on a straight and true course with White Base in order to send a signal. No manuevering makes him an easy target and KABLAAM!!! *end spoiler Edited June 14, 2005 by the white drew carey Quote
GRAND CANNON Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 cellphone^2 is disbanding...........hopefully someone else will sub the series. This bites because Episode II was cool. I think Deacon Blues may be doing this over at Zeonic-Corps, but I'm not sure....I'll have to check. Here's the cellphone^2 site : http://cellpwn.no-ip.org/ Damn............ Quote
Hikuro Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 That's actually too bad, I thought they were pretty good and they had been subbing destiny almost like next day releae compared to Seedfansubs whose taking their sweet time in my opinion oh well.....guess I go back to them. Quote
Panon Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 That's actually too bad, I thought they were pretty good and they had been subbing destiny almost like next day releae compared to Seedfansubs whose taking their sweet time in my opinion oh well.....guess I go back to them. 311581[/snapback] SEED-Fansubs typically take 2-3 days to release an episode rather than 24 hours like Cellphone. Boy are people spoilt these days. Try watching a series that isn't a popular new release and you might get an idea of what "sweet time" really is! Quote
Hikuro Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 I don't call it spoiled, I call it anxious to see what's going to happen next. Sometimes espically recently, Destiny leaves you with a cliffhanger going "Wait....DAMMIT! NO! ANOTHER ONE DAMMIT DO IT! HURRY UP!" Quote
Father Jack Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Damn God I hope somebody will pick it up again. I loved it an dI really want to see what happens. Quote
zeo-mare Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 i think subbed versions are now showing up on ebay, though i do not know the quality of them, i may still pick it up. chris Quote
kong Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I was wondering if someone who still has the torrent of the second episode raw could seed for a little bit.. I'm at 93.4% along with a few others... Sorry I learned about this a little late. Thanks Kong Quote
Twoducks Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 I really liked the first episode; great action (loved all that cannon fire and the space fights). Hope someone subs it soon, can´t wait to follow the story Quote
GRAND CANNON Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Wish I could help with the seed, but I no longer have the torrent. As far as the subs go for Ep. 1.....you can try the first entry here: http://isohunt.com/torrents.php?ihq=ms+igloo&ext=&op=and Good luck.... Quote
Magnus Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Ah geez, that sucks. I hope HaroHaro and Seed-Fansubs can keep it going. I know that when the original Seed aired, most of the groups died around the end of the series, just like now. Having to wait an extra day is bleh, but c'est la vie. HaroHaro usually gets their subs out within 48 hours. Quote

Mercurial Morpheus Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 I watched episode 1 last night and liked what I saw. The texture models were great, like the uniforms and so on. THe action was nice, like the Naval style battle between the ships. The character animation could've been better, as some movements were overblown, others too understated. Still, it had a good look to it, and as a light excursion into the early UC timeline, it wasn't bad. I think it works as a half hour show. If this were a ninety minute film, the animation would probably get rather tired after a while. Music was great. I really liked the opening song. I hope someone subs the second one. The Zeon POV was interesting. Quote
GRAND CANNON Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 (edited) Episode 3 is out! If anyone finds an ISO file, let us know. Found an AVI, but my VLC player won't play it. Edited October 31, 2005 by GRAND CANNON Quote
Father Jack Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 I don't think there is one. After the last group broke up I dont think anybody bothered to pick it back up. Quote
GRAND CANNON Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Nope, no one has picked it up since cellphone disbanded. I'm hoping this DVD release will re-activate the urge to sub 2 & 3 though. Hopefully a raw ISO will show-up to accompany 1 & 2, but maybe it's too soon. Quote
Father Jack Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 gg fansubs has subbed episode 1 its up on animesuki. Hopefully more will follow. Quote
bsu legato Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 I hope they do more. I really enjoyed the first installment, but it was sort of a tease know that there was more episodes out there that nobody was fansubbing. Quote
Gui Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 That's some great news MS Igloo's very cool: can't wait to watch eps 2 and up... Quote

Hikuro Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Sweet, hope this finishes before I got to bed, I'd really like to watch this before I go to work in the morning. Quote
promethuem5 Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Faaantastic. I watched ep1 last night and it was awesome. The effects of teh Jormagund on the ship were stupendous, and there was something really exhilerating about Char's subtle indroduction before he went on to make himself famous for his ship kills. I can't wait for ep2 to finish. Quote
GRAND CANNON Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Great news, indeed. Have had the raw DVDs of ep. 2, but now I can really get into it. Quote
Hikuro Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 You know honestly, I don't like these "High def" codecs like MKV...its annoying as hell and only VLC plays it and VLC has been a real pain in my ass lately. Which means I haven't been able to play this movie Quote
Gui Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 (edited) I had a similar problem until I download some special codecs for it. I found the download link at BoxTorrents in the thread for a4e's The Cat Returns v2. The topic is here: http://www.boxtorrents.com/details.php?id=128238 And the codec pack, recently updated, is downloadable here: http://cccp.kickassanime.org/ Edited January 24, 2006 by Gui Quote
