According to the Anime News Network, Samuel L . Jackson is going to star in a GONZO-produced anime series called "Afro Samurai" airing apparently simultaneously here in the States and in Japan. Here's the release on ANN

Hey, I actually think it may be a good thing. It's a step towards having US anime voiced by real acting talents, and not just random semi-professional voice actors.
