JValk Posted September 23, 2003 Posted September 23, 2003 (edited) Like posted below - I want to know if it's really as pink as it looks. Also, is that a Minmay Doll outline on the Heatshield? I thought the original Minmay Guard was bluer. Finally - argh I want 1/55 Minmay Guard Decals! BTW If you want a full discussion on the diff tween this one and the old minmay guard, see Here. Grayson72 Posted September 23, 2003 Posted September 23, 2003 Is this model even available yet, if it is I doubt anyone has had time to finish it. Quote

Maybe JValk knows of someone who already has it...?? (he knows something we don't know.. ) JValk why are you so Psycked about the color of the heat shield MM? remember than some pilots customize their fighter colors (like Max, Hikaru, etc), there were all skull Sq. but personalized. You could always modify the Minmay guard and still belong to the same squeadron...we won't hate you because of it. *I saw some "original" high resolution pics from that Hasegawa model and yes, there's a lot of pink... Lynx7725 Posted September 26, 2003 Posted September 26, 2003 Updated pics from HLJ: Man, this kit is really busy! I don't quite like it because it's so packed with confusing details. Box art looks good though. Quote
bigkid24 Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 So did they post that Valkyrie to give it that knock knee look of Minmay? I've seen the decals for the Minmay guard they look pretty good on a Yamato if you don't go too crazy. Quote
fernarias Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 Here is page 1 of the color sheet that shows more detail and color selection. Note: White numbers on black squares are the Mr. Color paint selection. F. Quote
robokochan Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 hello All, it is out. I have it on auction right now. It was released last Friday here in Japan. personally I am color blind. The parts look white to me, but it could be molded in light pink and I would never notice the difference. Rob Quote
yellowlightman Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 Whats teh story behind this and the "other" Minmay guard design? I think the other one (dark blue) looks a lot better. Was it some sort of special decal set, or a total custom? Quote

dna Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 What is Minmay carrying in her hand opposite the gunpod? It looks kinda like the moon? Quote
Less than Super Ostrich Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 well, i'm not colorblind... and it looks "fruity". Queer Eye for the Straight UN Spacy Guy. Quote
Myersjessee Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 I think this will be the first Hase in a while Ill skip...doesnt do anything for me....kinda like the minmei decal....but more for letterhead or someting...not a valk... Quote
dna Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 I'm not certain if I don't get it or if I just don't think it's funny... Quote
JValk Posted October 7, 2003 Author Posted October 7, 2003 Thanks for the closeup pic of the minmay decals - I see that Minmay is in ValkGirl mode - Hasegawa beat our FanWorks section to it! Once I make some spare cash I think I'll have to ask someone to make this on commission - it looks way too complicated for my fumbling hands. Quote
