UN Spacy
Let's all look back at what was supposed to happen. Pay close attention to the fine print at the bottom of the ad.
bandit29
Sigh.. notice that the name "Macross" doesn't appear anywhere in the ad. Well except for the email address. But the valk isn't advertised as a "Macross" product. I wonder if the name "Macross" name would have been on the box. Or would have it been called a just Strike or Super Valkyrie. Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0
LOL ahwww the good old days. Thhen the 1/48 came out and made the 1/60 in many ways look like crap. I still think yamato's 1/60 was a product of mismarketing. as diecast and precision but its too toyetic to be so. Whole other topic though lol. Where as the 1/48 is a straight up toy. promethuem5
Haha, I was gonna say 'gee you guys, that looks an aweful lot like a 1/60' until I read the rest of the posts.... I wonder how the 1/48 woulda done in the US... would need a smaller box for sure, too big for conventional stores I would think.
Ed.Coli
Wow, a lot of the "features" description looks lifted straight outta Graham's review on the main site. 1.  It actually looks like it does in the anime. 2.  It's got more articulation than any other transforming VF-1toy. 3.  It transforms easily. 4.  It has no ugly exposed hinges. 5.  Nearly all the external screws are covered. 6.  It should be plenty durable. 7.  It's a nice handy size to play with, not too big and not too small. 8.  It locks together solidly. No floppiness here! 9.  It's got much more detail than the old Takatoku & BandaiVF-1 toys. 10. Most of the detail is actually engraved on or painted on unlike the old toys which used stickers for much of the detail. 11. It comes with lots of accessories. 12. It uses translucent plastic for the eye-piece, shoulder searchlights, rear landing gear lights and wing lights. Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0
I might be wrong here, but I believe he was the one who actually wrote all that stuff on the ad.
