David Hingtgen Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 USAF: http://www2.acc.af.mil/airdemo//demo_schedule.html Navy/Marines: http://www.stevesairshow.com/demos05.html T-Birds/Blue Angels: http://www.stevesairshow.com/jet-teams05.html USAF isn't showing ALL the demos, I'm almost certain the F-15 and F-16 schedules are incomplete past June. Also can't find CF-18 schedule, they go to almost as many shows as the East Coast F-18 team. And there will be no F-14 demos besides Oceana. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted April 24, 2005 Author Posted April 24, 2005 (edited) Neat! West Coast Super Hornet team put up the entire display, move by move. http://www.lemoore.navy.mil/vfa-122/Demo%20Dirty%20Roll.htm Starts here. nanashino Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Hmm..... I wonder if Macross fans could get together for the Langley Air Show. Its May 13 – 15, 2005. Any Macross fans on the east coast gonna go? Maybe we could do a mini-con or something. http://www.langleyafbairshow.com/main.htm Quote
Apollo Leader Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Navy/Marines: http://www.stevesairshow.com/demos05.html Looks like the Super Hornet will finally be paying the Offutt air show a visit. Now if only the Raptor would show up... Quote
Nied Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Well I'm pissed. Due to a last minute schedule change at work I can't make it to the Andrews show again (which is hard as it is since I'm on the oposite end of the country now). And this year they're actually going to have a flying Raptor! Hopefully they might do the same thing for Fleet week here in SF come October. Quote
Zentrandude Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 as usual golden knights come to fairchild (starting to get old) luckly I have better private shows when A-10 pilots have their little tours to have a lookie loo around the lake where my cabin is at. they fly so low you can almost touch them if your on a boat. fulcy Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Any info on Airshow schedules involving WWII aircraft? Quote
Amped Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Wow, the Selfridge Base Air Show (in Michigan) is in May this year??? I thought it was always in July? Hm, anyhow, I'm gonna try to make it... always wanted to go, but something always seems to come up... hopefully that won't happen this year! Quote
David Hingtgen Posted April 25, 2005 Author Posted April 25, 2005 Can't find a warbirds listing, best to check a specific airshow's site. BTW, here's the F-104 listing: http://www.starfighters.net/schedule/schedule.html Not many, but well worth it. I've been to Selfridge before, but that's quite a trip. Maybe Evansville... Quote
David Hingtgen Posted June 2, 2005 Author Posted June 2, 2005 Bump, because there's been multiple airshow questions lately. Also, it's become known that the East Coast Super Hornet team has been using the Jolly Roger's commander's plane for demos, so if you want to see black/yellow/skulls, they're the ones to watch. http://www.schultzairshows.com/f18she2005.htm Quote
Godzilla Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 I assume the F-14 airshows will be its last year this year? Quote
Apollo Leader Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 http://www.offuttairshow.com/AirShow/ Hope to see some of you guys here this year! Quote
David Hingtgen Posted June 3, 2005 Author Posted June 3, 2005 VF-101 will basically attempt to get one of VF-32's F-14B's to do a demo at Oceana. VF-101 will be effectively disestablished and airplane-less by then, but the pilots should still be qualified and VF-32 will be about the only squadron scheduled to still be in existence, not at sea.
