JB0 Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 Unarguable Fact: Grendizer is the SINGLE UGLIEST SUPER ROBOT EVER. Grendizer ugly? I don't think so. Gaiking is the king of ugly robots. Just as ugly is that one nuclear-powered Jet-Alone (JA) from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Now when will Bandai make a chogokin Mechander Robo? Meh. What does Luna know, anyway? Quote
Black Valkyrie Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 Hmm........... a real SRW in this thread is going to happen . SPINNING SAUCER Quote
Chuey Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 Great, I can hear my bank account moaning already. As I kid, I owned and really enjoyed the orginal SOC Voltes V. I love Combattler, but I will have to get this puppy just for childhood memories. Quote
southpaw Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 anyone here think the godaikin voltes v will go up in price or go lower because of the soc Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 anyone here think the godaikin voltes v will go up in price or go lower because of the soc I'd say it'll either stay at the same price or even go up. Quote
tank Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 is there any prototype picture of this upcoming voltes v? finally! its coming out Quote
areaseven Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Well, looks like there's at least one eBay auction on this toy. But $235 (including shipping)? That's crazy! eBay Auction on GX-30 Voltes V Quote
grss1982 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 oh Yeah well I heard that combattler V eats babies, and you can trace lots of his "Charitable donatons" to the evil geniuses for a better tomarrow fund. The robot is basically keeping himself in business by funding those he is supposed to be defeating. That's why I'm voting Voltes V for robot overlord. Also I seem to remember some sort of bithcin' electromagnetic top that Voltes shot with his belt whip. Come on that's so cool. unless it was from another show then that robot is pretty cool. But still go Voltes V boo everyone else! 287860 ULTRA ELECTRO MAGNETIC TOP!!!! With weapons like the one above and THESE Voltes V PWNS!!!!! TO MY FELLOW PINOYS: Wow, dumarami yata ang mga f/pilipino dito sa MW. Quote
UN_MARINE Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Interesting site It highlights Voltes V's most devastating weaponry & the "kicking ass w/o the legs" episode Although it still hasn't corrected the local misconception of "ULTRA ELECTROMAGNETIC" if you run it through a dictionary, Voltes V is actually a "SUPER ELECTRIC" machine Quote
Final Vegeta Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 (edited) Goldrake (Grendizer) is Italy's national hero because it was the first robot show aired. Personally, I don't think I liked it more than other robot shows. I do agree the design is uglysh, although not the worst. Now, this is an Italian site, please try to browse following the images. The ugliest robots I know are Balatack, Diapolon and Godam. Grendizer, Zambot, Bryger, Groizer X are still ugly, but on a lesser scale. FV Edited November 10, 2005 by Final Vegeta Quote
aarbain Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 When will the SOC be out? Anyone know the expected price? Anyway, I remember watching an English dubbed version of the movie. Have this been reissued on DVDs? ~A~ Quote
areaseven Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Anyway, I remember watching an English dubbed version of the movie. Has this been reissued on DVDs? 343832 The Philippine English version is available on DVD and VCD formats through eBay. A U.S. English version was released on VHS over 20 years ago, but don't bother searching for it. The dubbing sucks, not to mention that they deleted the theme song. Quote
areaseven Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Voltes V @ HLJ Dude, it's pure toy porn in a box. I don't care if I go bankrupt - I'm ordering one. Quote

EXO Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 http://www.zincpanic.com/view_article.phtml?id=25997 A minor company is making a nicely boxed metal Tenkuuken (Voltes' sword) meant to be compatible with the SOC Voltes toy. It'll be about $20, and sold in June. Quote
zeo-mare Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 very cool, probably the same company that make the limited boxed metal Combattler blade a little while back. chris Quote
