rarityraider Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 (edited) I find this VF-0D finished very cool from a Japanese modeller. Just share the link at below: http://silvie.zdap.jp/guest/mirin_vf0d.html Enjoy! Edited April 13, 2005 by rarityraider Quote
Graham Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Very nice VF-0D. I'm having a VF-0D commissioned at the moment, but built with landing gear up and painted in the normal grey color scheme rather than Shin's blue. Graham Quote
Chas Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 WoW That's incredible! really nice preshading there! and those in-flight dispays - HOW'D HE DO THAT! I'm just floored. I mean WOW!!! Quote
NERV Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 i still say the VF-0 looks like a later model than the VF-1 Quote
zeo-mare Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 great pics there are a lot of other great customs on that site as well. chris Quote
Less than Super Ostrich Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 That cockpit is amazing. I have the kit, but haven't really dug into it yet. Is there dashboard decals that make it look so nice or was it a custome? Quote
nightmareB4macross Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 The overall attention to detail is amazing. Nice find, Rarityraider. Quote
Less than Super Ostrich Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 yep... looks like a wmcheng model. speaking of wmc... he's been kinda quiet lately. Quote
wm cheng Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Great build! Thanks for sharing rarityrader. Yep, I've been busy working like a dog! Haven't touched a kit since last fall - I've got cobwebs growing around my VF-1 & booster The film business has picked up a bit in T.O. (thank God!) and I am busy trying to make up for lost income. Plus we've been on our first March Break vacation since we bought the house - and I am working to hopefully get a car for myself! I can only "lurk" around here and live vicariously through you guys - keep up the great work! Thanks for thinking of me Brian... its nice to be noticed. Quote
Less than Super Ostrich Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 There he is! Good to hear from you in the Great White North, eh? Glad to hear things are picking up. I've been on a kit hiatus too with my newborn and two older kids needing lots of attention. Momma Ostrich is also been very busy. We'll patienty await your next project, WMC. Quote
Majestic Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Beautiful build. If only Yamato would produce a "perfect-grade" 1/48 version! (Yes, I know it would be huge and cost billions!) Quote
Less than Super Ostrich Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Beautiful build. If only Yamato would produce a "perfect-grade" 1/48 version! (Yes, I know it would be huge and cost billions!) Toy Boyz be gone! Grayson, take this guy out back and get medievel on him. Quote
Grayson72 Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 LOL, why is it every model thread we have some lurker from the toy section's gotta say "If only Yamato would produce one for us!". Yamato is a lost cause, they have abandoned you, convert or die! Quote
FlyingPika Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 surely if its parked like that, its hud displays wouldnt be turned off ? uberness niether the less. And doesnt it come with a pilot ? And i agree the VF-0 looks way later than the simplistic lines of the vf-1. Look at the nose!!! And tell me the fuel tanks on its chest make it lewk dated, coz they just make it look kick ass. Quote

Less than Super Ostrich Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Majestic, We just love beating up on the kiddies in the Toy Forum. Grayson and I like to tag team just like in the WWF. Perhaps we are the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkov of Macrossworld. Remember the Hart brothers? Jim "the Anvil" Neidhart and Bret "the Hitman" Hart? Ahhhhh regressing.... Quote
Gabe Q Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Yamato is a lost cause, they have abandoned you, convert or die! Funny. Quote
THOR Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 (edited) I want to be one of the "Road-Warriors" or "Big John Stud" or Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Too bad I look like George "The Animal" Steel. Edited April 14, 2005 by THOR Quote
Less than Super Ostrich Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 nice pic of the Lovely Elizabeth. Used to get Macho Man Randy Savage all hot and bothered. My wife is named Elizabeth and I call her that. She has no idea of the reference. Quote
