shiyao Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 (edited) Just wondering if anybody knows whether the Briareos action figure included with the upcoming DVD box set ( http://www.appleseedthemovie.com/dvd/specialedition2.htm ) is the same as the one that Yamato currently has out ( http://www.cornerstorecomics.com/af_appleseed.html ). Thanks in advance! Edited April 13, 2005 by shiyao Quote
Akilae Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Well, I only got the Japanese Deunan DVD box, and as far as I can tell, it's the exact same toy... Quote
EXO Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 There was a box tht they sold prior to DVD release that came with a small unposeable Bri figure, but the one in the pic looks likethe bigger poseable one. The quality is similar to Deunan's, pretty poor in the arms. Quote

shiyao Posted April 13, 2005 Author Posted April 13, 2005 that's good to know. if it *is* the bigger 7" briareos figure, i'll just get the entire DVD set and be done with it, instead of getting DVD and action figure separately. re deunan's poseability: she *can* sort of hold her pistol, if you're careful about it. her arm's fallen off once - not too bad, considering my kaiyodo evangelions have their arms falling off every other day! shiyao Posted April 13, 2005 Author Posted April 13, 2005 Incidentally, if anybody needs the Appleseed 2004 movie ENGLISH subtitles (not the Spanish or Chinese ones that seem to be floating around all over the place), drop me a PM. BTW, anyone can recommend a good program that helps you integrate .avi with .srt files? Quote
