HWR, where do you store all of those things when they are done?? They are soooo cool, but just look like way too much of a space investment.

Posted

Yeah but I dinna read them.

Thanks, I'll keep it on order. :D

P5 i store them where they will fit. The M1 lives on the floor in my hbby room and the 1/16 ones are small enough to live on shelves. Sad news though MY WONDERFUL cat decided to get on the shelf with the 2 gepards. IT COLLAPSED THE SHELF. one gepard is suffering a smashed turret and the ther has 2 snapped axles on the roadwheels and various surface cracks all over it. Rob it looks like ill need to cann the one for some parts to get mine back up

Great work

Just out of interest what did you use for the skin tone ? Invariably anything that says its skin tone is usually not IMO. Yours looks right to me though. I have a couple of figures that are all but done except the skin tone.

thanks for the kind words everyone!

I use tamaya flat flesh, white and a drop or two of yellow.

Nice pic, like the droid fighter shooting at her  ...

But man! that's some strong thumbs on her! it's damb nearly impossible to do that with bass strings, especially so close to the headstock, I guess it's another example of "Anime magic".

Its Cloud Strife's Bike from the FF7 game.

I guess FF means Final Fantasy, then perhaps it's no surprise that I didn't know, course I haven't played or seen much the game. Now that I've seen the bike (part of anyway) I maybe will :)

Hey everyone. Here is a bit of a break from all the custom valks I have been doing. While this is technically not a model, I thought you might like to see. A member here commissioned me to re-paint their Biker Scout from Gentle Giant. Also used is a new base from germany I believe. I added all of the ground work. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Here's my latest, die-cast destroid monster. I couldn't bring myself to spending 200 bucks on the 1/200 destroid monster model, so i bought 2 broken matchbox monsters off ebay for 19.00 and then used a little putty to fill holes and extend the nose. So here's a before and after comparison... plus a few other customs I'm working on.

I got a littel too excited and now I have four kits running at one time, error! error!!

Anyhow, I am working on one of Cap's Regults, and a seperate standing pilot figure, an old, old 1/100ish scale gerwalk kit and I just got started cleaning up a Farscape Moia kit I plan to give to my Mom for Mother's Day, she loved that show :)

If it comes out alright I'll try to post a few pics. Unfortunately, the underside of the ship is a little warped probably my fault for improper storage, I have some work to do to get it all straightened out.
