Chas Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 I've had a copy of the Macross Guidebook since about 1986 or so and there is a 16 page comic in it which I've never been able to read. I've got 9 scans that contain the whole thing and I was wondering if anyone, or group of you, would be willing to do a translation so that we Gaigin can enjoy the humor as well. Here's a taste of the comic. I have to go to work now but I'l be back in about 11 hours so I can see if there are any takers and if so post the rest then. Charles. Quote
Chas Posted April 10, 2005 Author Posted April 10, 2005 Well, even though nobody seems to want to translate them I'll post the rest up anyway. At least we can all look at the pretty pictures. Quote
yellowlightman Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Any chance you could post larger scans? Translations would be easier if it was easier to make out the characters and runi keys. Quote
Radd Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 Heh, I have this book, too. Mine is falling apart, of course I bought it in that condition way back in the mid 90's for like a few bucks. Quote
Wheels Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 No, that's no good, for the micro print anyways. You need to rescan at a much higher resolution to pick up the fine print. Not just by increasing the pics size. This is a great idea, if anybody wants to translate. Quote
