ruskiiVFaussie Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Ohh baby, that's hot! I'm gettin a couple of these suckas. Quote
Fortress_Maximus Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 H, so exactly which parts open up to reveal missiles? The chest, both shoulders etc? WHat about the calfs, hips? Can anyone confirm or deny? Pics? Thanks! Quote
Mr March Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 I really like the idea of the removable side shields. This is something that should have been included along with the FAST Packs and reissues a long time ago. It just makes sense to have them, even without any armored parts. Makes the mecha look better. Graham Posted September 28, 2005 Author Posted September 28, 2005 Yamato has some new pics of the 1/48 GBP on their site. Graham Quote

Fortress_Maximus Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Interesting, so the hip, forearms and the calf ones don't open up then? Quote
Graham Posted September 28, 2005 Author Posted September 28, 2005 Interesting, so the hip, forearms and the calf ones don't open up then? 332143 Bottom right pic clearly shows that the calf ones do open. Graham Quote
Dat Pinche Haro! Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 instead of making an adapter for those who wanna keep the nosecone on, yamato should've just made two different coverings for the crotch area... Quote

Graham Posted September 28, 2005 Author Posted September 28, 2005 I think he means the whole groin armor. Graham Quote
Renato Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 I think he means the whole groin armor. 332186 Oh, OK. Sorry. Quote
EXO Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 i don't see the difference between having the whole thing and a piece that you switch... except more plastic for the other way around. Quote
Hayao Kakizaki Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 I like the groin armor design of the 1/60, now the longer one of the 1/48 seem very odd, not smart and very ugry... Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 (edited) Interesting, so the hip, forearms and the calf ones don't open up then? 332143 According to this picture (see bottom left) the missiles from the forearm are removable too. At least the prototype was intended to. Edited September 28, 2005 by Ignacio Ocamica Quote
Renato Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Heads up: New Figure Oh (Ultraman issue) has new pics of GBP and Aquarion. I heard from a friend. Someone..............?? Quote
aaajin Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 cmon Graham...were counting on youuu Quote
Graham Posted September 30, 2005 Author Posted September 30, 2005 #91 has a ultraman look a like on the cover I can't make out the figure on the left of it is at an aquarion also?http://www.hlj.com/product/WPPFG091 332659 I don't think that's an Ultraman on the cover of #91. I think it's one of the bad guys from the latest Masked Rider show. And #91 doesn't have GBP pics, it has pics of the Yamato 1/60 scale VF-0S, which I have already scanned and posted on page #8 of the VF-0S thread nearly a month ago when #91 was first published. Graham 332702 Yeah, that was Masked Rider on the previous issue, which you did scan. The new one has Ultraman, plus it comes with Ultraman figures. It must be #92. Also, the new issue of Quanto has tons of new pics as well, so I hear. Damn my backwater town! Edited September 30, 2005 by Renato Quote
Renato Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 OK, just checked out Quanto and it only has a half-page of GBP, so it's not worth it. Quote

Fortress_Maximus Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 OOOhhh that IS nice! I wonder if anyone will have pics soon of all of the missiles spread out infront of the GBP? I'm looking forward to it! I just wish the damn thing was cheaper, say around $80 instead of being close to $100+ pre-valk. Quote
