BoBe-Patt Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 so is there a giftset coming out for this? I'm guessing if there is, then it'll probably cost like 200+ for it huh? Quote
Metal_Massacre_79 Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 It's a good thing I have a side job to afford this one. Now I have to decide which one to put it on. Quote
Mechafan Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 At that price only one set for me at this time. Quote
1/1 LowViz Lurker Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 (edited) I will be getting at least one but will be waiting reviews. Hopefully the armor and missiles don't pop off the valk if you touch it. Those hands do look good though. What I would like to see is a package that contains: fast pack super + strike parts gbp in one package. (all extras grouped into 1) This would be good for those who only intend to have 1 valk, but want to outfit the thing in whatever combination they want. (bare bones, gbp, fast pack super valk, fast pack strike valk) I wouldn't mind if they did something like that in the event they decide to release ghost booster and gbp for vf0. ruskiiVFaussie Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 (edited) Yeah that would be an awesome idea, having all of them together in a bundle. It'd be like 150? for the box set! I'd buy it! Seeing that everyone reckons the sets will be atleast a month later than originally stated i'll be waiting till then to pick mine up. Ignacio Ocamica Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Don't care about the price I'm getting multiples like I did with the 1/60 GBP. It's a beauty!!!! No GBP for the VF-1J, I'm gonna outfit two cannon fodders and a Focker VF-1S Quote
Fortress_Maximus Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 It is nice, but that price is not beautiful! For that much it better include a 1/48! Quote
connor99 Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 It is nice, but that price is not beautiful! For that much it better include a 1/48! 327017 I heard that! Man, this damn thing is gonna be expensive, but we all know that it is a definite must-have ! Quote

halfan Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Yamato finally updated their site (within the last couple days) and added the 1/48 GBP with a 12/05 release. Nothing new there but they have larger pictures of all the armor parts here. Quote
promethuem5 Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Anyone care to guess if the hands are actually panel lined like in the pics? This thing looks gorgeous... I really hope the missiles fit properly tho...otherwise they're gonna be EVERYWHERE! Quote

Ignacio Ocamica Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 saw these on Pam's... Thank you so much for the new pics I find myself checking everyday if there's new pics of the GBP and the 1/60 VF-0 Quote
aaajin Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 & to think that Ive just posted those pics..... Quote
Graham Posted September 22, 2005 Author Posted September 22, 2005 From the pics, it looks like the hands are not panel lined. Oh well, it will be a simple 5 minute job with a Gundam marker. Graham Quote
1/1 LowViz Lurker Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 (edited) They should have added boots to make its feet bigger. Just joking. I need to save up for a vf1j. Edited September 22, 2005 by 1/1 LowViz Lurker Quote
1 VF-1 2NV Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Damn. The GBP is looking better. Quote
Onimusha-shin Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 those pics are ultra bad-ass. thanks aaajin & RTHK. Quote

promethuem5 Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Those pics are superb! I am sooo excited now that I know I've got one preordered Too bad the hands aren't panel lined... I don't know if I'll want to line them tho bc/ then they won't match my VF-1S Roy that they are destined for (I've got TV hands for Hikaru's VF-1J.) I wonder if you'll be able to mount the side torso panels on a valk without the GBP armor... they could make a good recast item for people who want, seeing as the flip up ones on the valk don't line up right. connor99 Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 I totally agree with you guys, the 1/48 GBP is looking even better now with the new pics being posted. Thanks, guys! Can't wait to outfit my 1J with this armor. Quote
doodler7 Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 No doubt about that, many thanks for sharing the photos! It's bulky, wide and huge! More armor please! I'm very excited about this add-on. So is anyone planning to make bigger feet? Quote
Graham Posted September 23, 2005 Author Posted September 23, 2005 Just picked up the new November issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine and they have some pics of the GBP. Click on pic to enlarge. Graham Quote
dr_vandermeer Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Is it me or does it look slimmer in Graham's pic? Guess it really depends on what angle you shoot it from. Thanks for the pic, Graham. Lovin' it! Quote
Die, Alien Scum! Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Are the circled pieces the side armor the fits in the gap underneath the arms and between the chest and back of the battroid? That's what I assume they are, but I want to hear your opinions. Quote

I would love to see a pic of a low viz dressed up in one. Quote
Renato Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 (edited) this thing just looks so good... I would love to see a pic of a low viz dressed up in one. 330926 Problem is, that wouldn't look so great -- the white shoulder pieces would be extremely jarring. I've also noticed one other thing in those pics, though: The addition of a dark grey version of the white FAST pack stabiliser piece thing that comes with the FAST pack sets. If they can do that in grey, then I want my low-vis shoulders!! Edited September 23, 2005 by Renato Quote
