Maybe after you're done listening to your Menudo and William Hung CDs. In the meantime, let's all sing along... Wanzerfan, Wanzerfan Does whatever a wanker can Spams the web with his lies And he digs younger guys Look out - Here comes the Wanzerfan Is he smart? Listen, bud His whole cranium's full of mud Every post, every thread No respect for the dead Douchebag - a.k.a. Wanzerfan Everything he writes Should be considered a crime Whether day or night He arrives to waste our time Wanzerfan, Wanzerfan Friendly neighborhood wanker man Set his name to ignore Common sense is your reward Screw him! Wanzerfan
Ha. I love that prejudice that many so-called hardcore metalheads have, that nothing "electronic" or too technological can be involved in what they consider to be "true" heavy metal. Most of it stems from the traditional prejudice that many guitar players have against many other instruments, especially keyboards and synthesizers. Like the other instruments are "not as real" as the guitars. Yeah, I know that, I was just paraphrasing what was printed in one of ManOwaR's album liner notes.Ronnie James Dio certainly proved that you can use synthesizers and still kick maximum ass in the song "Rainbow in the Dark". |--| (my half-assed attempt at an ACSII maloik)

Oihan
Hello, I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum for this but I was hoping someone would be able to kindly help me. I'm trying to locate the version of "September" by Earth, Wind, & Fire that has the following lyrics in it: "It was a shiny day That made me feel this way Oh darling, sweet sweet darling Yeah!" I've heard it in dance remixes but I was hoping to locate the original version, if such a version exists. I've tried google and nothing comes up at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Wanzerfan
Good choices from the thrash masters. I especially like "Mary Jane" from So Far, So Good... So What As for "Angry Again", it's so hard to believe that an Original Motion Picture Soundtrack would be so much better than the movie itself ("Last Action Hero") Speaking of which, I also like "What the Hell Have I", "Little Bitter" (Alice in Chains), the title track (Tesla), "Cock the Hammer" (Cypress Hill), "Poison My Eyes" Anthrax, "Big Gun" (AC/DC), "Real World" (Queensryche), and "Two Steps Behind" (Def Leppard) off that soundtrack. Shaorin
THE BEST OF THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT (CD, ARISTA, 1983) KITARO; THE LIGHT OF THE SPIRIT (CD, GEFFEN, 1987) found both CD albums, both original first editions, at a thrift for $2.50ea. i would have rather found a copy of A.P. PROJECT's "I ROBOT" album on CD, but at least the greatest hits collection here provides me a full length copy of "EYE IN THE SKY" and KITARO? excellent sound quality and all, but definitely mood music, meant for when you're in JUST the right mood... Wanzerfan
Just ripped these onto the old XBox hard drive (CD name Crank up the Classic Rock). "Takin' Care of Business", Bachman Turner Overdrive "Jungle Love", Steve Miller Band "Blinded by the Light", Manfred Mann's Earth Band (The Boss actually wrote this one about racing Deuce coupes; I thought the lyrics referred to Hearts, because it's hard as all hell to Shoot the Moon with the deuce of hearts in your hand) "Foreplay/Long Time", Boston "Bad to the Bone", George Thorogood and the Destroyers "Smoke on the Water", Deep Purple (_-|-- to a certain Frank Zappa and the Mothers fan, you flare gun wielding son of a bitch; the finger is kinda halfhearted, though, because if that event hadn't happened, we wouldn't have a song that kicks maximum ass) "Jailbreak", Thin Lizzy (one of Lynnot's (sp.?) best) "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", Blue Oyster Cult (one of their darkest best) "Green-Eyed Lady", Sugarloaf "Heartbreaker", Pat Benatar "Roller", April Wine "Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress)", The Hollies "Feels Like the First Time", Foreigner "Renegade", Styx "Some Kind of Wonderful", Grand Funk Railroad "Slow Ride", Foghat "Ballroom Blitz", Sweet (I don't know if this was on the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" soundtrack, but it sounds like it would've fit right in with that zany movie)

Wanzerfan
Shows where their minds are at. I think flying off to be the GRIM REAPER'S LOVER is much better than hearing a song that has alomst nothing but obscenities in it.
