promethuem5 Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Has anyone besides me seen these? I was at the mall the other day adn saw episodes 1 through 4 on single episode mini DVDs. They were kinda neat and I woulda gotten them if I didnt already have the first few episodes on full sized DVDs. How come Macross can't get thios kinda support? And are tehy gonna release ALL the episodes one at a time like this? Quote
Wesker99 Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Probably a waste of money, but I'd check it out to see the box art and such Quote
promethuem5 Posted March 21, 2005 Author Posted March 21, 2005 They look to be the same covers as used by the comic reprints which I have. The first one with the VF-1J Hikkie and stuff in teh background, and one with the Battlepods, the one with the Monster, and that other one I can't remeber right now... They were only like 3 bucks each so I figured you really couldnt go wrong and would have grabbed them if I didnt already have those episodes. They were in packages about the size of a umm... er.. like 3 inches square. Quote
Cyclone Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 (edited) The reason why RT only is because ADV were aiming them at non-anime fans so their primarily dub only due to the disc space issue, thus Macross wasn't an option... not to mention that whole not licensed by ADV thing... I can't recall any series that was full released in this format, so I doubt all 85 eps would make, especially consider that any ADV mini-DVD haven't been done in a while IIRC. Mercurial Morpheus Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Yeah, I've seen them. I was at a Wherehouse the other day that marked it like an actual Remaster set. 20 bucks for an episode. amzing the mistakes some people make. Quote
