Ryuji Posted September 17, 2005 Author Posted September 17, 2005 Starting torso. First,I have to correct the head position - the original Aina kit was completly wrong... Quote
EXO Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 I'm struggling to see that you can get close to that positioning of the art with that model as a base. But I have no doubt that your version will be beautiful. Quote
Ryuji Posted September 23, 2005 Author Posted September 23, 2005 I don't know what's wrong but I can't update images here - Every time I tried I got a white screen...>_< (now I'm testing with text without image). In Hobbyfan forum I posted a update: http://www.hobbyfanatics.com/index.php?showtopic=5297&st=15 Quote
Renato Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 To coin a phrase, that's just Komilicious. Quote
chrono Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 To coin a phrase, that's just Komilicious. 330876 Let's not. It sounds like a VD. Coming together pretty well now. Really don't like the your version of the chest plate though. The whole upward pointed center area throws it off. Quote
Golden Arms Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 great work so far!! I can't wait to see the finished model. Quote
Savant_Guarde Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Hi Guys, Recently discovered this board. I'm a big Macross fan ever since I think I saw that famous image of Komillia from 2036 in a games magazine. I love your work Ryuji, I also saw your Minmay models and they are fantastic. Please please please please make this available on hobbyfan as a kit! I will be sure to buy this and most likely one of the minmay ones as well. In the meantime keep at it! eagerly awaiting more updates! Quote

Stamen0083 Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Her bosom isn't as ample as I imagined (or would have liked), but I suppose who need boobies when you have an ass like that? Quote
azrhino Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 How in the world did you cut the detail into the breast plate? It looks increadibly crisp. You are doing a beautiful job, and I can't wait to see the full buildup. I'm also eager to see this as a kit. Quote
Ryuji Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 After build the shoulder part I agree: she needs more breast so I increased her boobs (better?) Quote
Knight26 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Nice but lots not get too rediculous on her bust size, make her at max a C-Cup Quote
chrono Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 After build the shoulder part I agree: she needs more breast  so I increased her boobs  (better?) 333959 Not really, she is in uniform and that is armor. *hopes that was just a photo-morph* Quote
Sundown Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I actually prefer the smaller busted sculpt to the new sculpt, as it better matched her slim waist and figure. Her breasts look a tad too far apart and look like they're pointing a little too much away from each other... might look better to bring them together a bit and back it down a notch. -Al Quote
Mule Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 I agree with trying to bring them together a bit and maybe shrink them a little. But, I do think you did the right thing by building the area up a bit. I think a design between what was and what is would be about perfect. Quote
Jasonc Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 I think it's fine adding more "bust" to the sculpt. Afterall, what looks like seperated busts, will be sculpted into the chest plate once done, and will look perfectly fine. On some points of the rendition, I know Ryuji wants the sculpt to look as close as the original artist, but on things like the bust size, I believe a little freedom on his part is great and will actually add to a 3D model. Great work on this, I wish I had half the skill to make those. Nice work. Quote
