ValkJunkie
Changed face - now she is starting to look like Komillia... 343923[/snapback] i agree.. amazing work once again..
Ryuji
Before change proportion I make a copy : Many times in past when I changed something in my models I started to think "before was better, but now it's too late because I destroyed the kit ..." Now,I ALWAYS make a copy and make modification in copy and keep the original for comparison
Ryuji
Leg reduction. I still not sure which one is better... (maybe the original size...at least I still have the original!! )
NERV
tought call, they both look great, but i tihnk i would probably go with the original
CoryHolmes
I'd say go with the newer, shorter legs. Especially in that first comparison pic, her original legs just looked too long for her torso. They looked like someone stretched her out on a rack or something. JB0
Yah. The shorter legs are a little better.
NERV
i guess i just got a thing for nice legs, i think she looks a little too stocky in the new ver
Major Johnathan
It's looking good. Personally, and it's subjective, I like the shorter legs. Tall women are intimidating.
Zinjo
Man, Figure painters and sculptors like you always amaze me! I'm a static kit builder / kit basher by bent and I'm constantly amazed at the skill it takes to do figures! Amazing stuff Ryuji! chrono
The short legs really do help. Unfortunatly something else is throwing it off for me. I wanna say it's the feet size for some reason.

NERV
it mgih tbe that now that the legs are shorter the overall body seems smaller and it make her head look a tad big
Mule
I like the new, shorter legs.
baxojayz
IMO, long legs are always nicer. But I leave it to Ryuji's discretion. I have many of the kits of his work from the past and will be happy with any decision he makes on this.

ghostryder
Short leg version is perfect, except as said before, the feet may be a bit big.
fernarias
the feet may be a bit big. Hm, I made some obvious changes and I think perhaps you are right. But that's something the kit builder could change if he wanted. I prefer the shorter legs and of course I will be buying a kit. F. emajnthis
The shorter legs have a better overall proportion. The model as a whole has really developed quite nicely.
Ryuji
Now with copied parts I can build the other two girls (but I have no idea of who they are... I don't have this game) ...and I STILL not sure which leg is better : - with long leg she looks more elegant but the proportion is wrong - the short leg is correct, but sometimes she looks small I thought after build the other girls it was more easy to decide, but no... DatterBoy
Hey Ryuji, Looking at these refs of the pilots andthe original Komilla pic, I'm thinking the outfit would have a slightly more dramatic impact with the shoulder pads slightly larger. Just a thought, but of course, your artisitic license allows you whatever you choose. Great work, BTW. :Dat

With the 3 different poses I'd go with longer legs because it works so well in that style of display set-up! The first figure is Milia and Max's daughter (can't recall her name off the top of my head) who appears in the "Macross 2036" game. The other two figures are characters from the "Macross: Eternal Love Song" game that appears to take place during or close to the same year. It seems to depict a mission to capture a second factory satellite. Kamjin and LapLamiz seem to be back for more, their death in both the TV series and D?YRL notwithstanding. Possibly just the next iteration of clones. Eternal Love Song is a strategy RPG. I've never played it.
