Two ways.

1) When you post, you can attach 1 picture per post directly from your hard drive. When you are replying, just scroll down below the box where you type your reply and you will see something called 'File Attachments', which allows you to browse your hard drive and select a pic for attaching.

2) If you already have an imagine online, you can post it by clicking on the IMG button (located above the box where you type your reply) and pasting in the URL.

I'd recommend #2. When you post attachments, you post as-is. So if you've got an image and it's 1600x1200, it will show up as such. You also run the chance of it being deleted when it's time to clean the forums. There are lots of places you can host images online and most of them are free (like PhotoBucket or ImageShack.us).

I haven't used photobucket but once you upload the image to them Photobucket will likely give instructions on how to do that.
