Hikuro Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Jesus H...The Garland looks huge! We know what scale that's suppose to be? But wow, its coming a long way after a year with just Cycle form....but the Gform looks fantastic! Quote
EXO Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 It says 1/15 on that little sign. The previous one they displayed before had a 1/18 microman on it, and it looked about right. Plus I thought they always sculpted it scaled up then it gets manufactured at a smaller size. IIRC. Quote
zeo-mare Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Plus I thought they always sculpted it scaled up then it gets manufactured at a smaller size. IIRC. many toy companies do that, i hope it stays big, the bigger the better, i am more than willing to pay alittle extra for a big very detailed transfoming toy. chris Quote
JELEINEN Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 I kind of wish they'd go with 1/18. The action figure looked way too small sitting on the prototype. Quote
MSW Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Overall it looks pretty good...but I worry about floppyness in that waist/hip area, looks way more complicated then it needs to be Quote

ADV currently has the license for the show in the US, but that may not extend into merchandise. I'm sure we'll find out for sure as it gets closer to an actual release. Quote
Mercurial Morpheus Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 That definitely looks sweet. More stuff to save up for. Quote
Duke Togo Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Its Yamato... you know something will be defective, something will be floppy, and something most definitely will break if you do anything but leave it in the box. Quote
Hikuro Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 and thhhhhhhhheeeeerrrrrreeee's mister sunshine! Quote
GobotFool Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 I really hope yamato makes thoes leg joints out of diecast. plastic just will not do for such small and frail looking parts. Quote
Hikuro Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Judging by the picture, the legs are connected to some rather SMALL hinges...I bet they do flop around, but I can't make a solid call cause it could have a locking mechanism somewhere on the waist. It also looks like the armor for the midsection is missing..granted we're talking about something that's a motorcycle, but its still looks like its missing something there between the upper torso and the waist. I'm as well curious how the wheels which become the shoulders move from side to side to up and down when changing modes from G form to Cycle...unless I'm missing something big. Quote
Feyd-Rautha Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 do you guys think the garland will come with a PILOT???? Quote
Sebastian Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 do you guys think the garland will come with a PILOT???? Kowing Yamato... Of course NOT. They will sell you the garland in 150USD and then a totally overpriced figure, but you cant have the bike without the rider, soooo we will buy everything. Quote
Kin Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 I'm sorry for beeing such a critic... but how does he join his fingers when his chest gets in the way? Quote
promethuem5 Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 Does someone ride that thing in the anime? Looks neat....might have to get one and then see the anime too. Quote
Fort Max Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 Does someone ride that thing in the anime? Looks neat....might have to get one and then see the anime too. It does have a rider and when it transforms the open saddle becomes a fully enclosed cockpit, http://www.mahq.net/mecha/megazone23/megaz...3-1/garland.htm Quote
