Aurel Tristen Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 This is somewhat-off topic... but I recently seen these and though that other might be interested. Miyatake-design mecha and tank Radio Control Toys: Gun Walker English: http://www.kyosho.co.jp/web/products/milit...attle_fm-e.html Japanese: http://www.kyosho.co.jp/web/products/milit...attle_fm-j.html Gun Roller English: http://www.kyosho.co.jp/web/products/milit...unroller-e.html Japanese: http://www.kyosho.co.jp/web/products/milit...unroller-j.html They are 16,800 and 18,900 Yen each originally, but RCMart has them for $74.00 USD and $59.00: http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=318_462 There are 3 color variations of each. This site also has a lot of pictures including packaging etc. I think I want one they look really cool. You can see various Miyatake design implements, like the Monster's sensor domes, similar head likes on the U.N. Forces' 6 x 6 along with other stylings Quote

UN Spacy Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 My Gunwalker is already busted. Something is wrong with the internal wiring....now it's sitting in my closet collecting dust. Quote
drifand Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 (edited) Gunwalker is a bit too niche even though I love the military-styling. To really "play" it you need lots of ferrous metal floor space so that the electromagnetic feet can "walk" on it. The set only includes a single laminated base plate of about a square foot in area. If you just want a cool mecha for display, it'll fit the bill much better. Very nice detailing, crisp molding, realistic figures. Gunwalker looks great with the 1/35 Gasraki Tactical Armor kits: I bought mine in HK for about 80USD equivalent, so the $74 price seems pretty fair. BUT, the package is pretty heavy(!) mostly because of the metal base plate, so beware of the shipping charges. Edited February 12, 2005 by drifand Quote
Neova Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Those are awesome RCs. I almost bought the guntank but it was yellow and not the green version. I might go back and pick one up for customizing instead. Its definately toy grade and not "hobby" grade, but hell, it looks way cool. Could definately see this in a Macross side story during Space War 1. Quote
jezter101 Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 looks real fun... How much can you get it for Neova? maybe can send it to me in singapore.. Quote
