Sweet-1 Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 (edited) I recently won a Vf-11C (Repptu) from ebay and it arrived yesterday. I opened it up and it is awesome, but when compared to the club-M fighter there is a big size difference. Most notably the size of the FAST packs on the Repptu. They're huge compared to the Club-M. Given the level of expertise on this board, which would be the most accurate? Both are amazing kits, the detail is awesome. The Battroid even has the bayonet on the gun pod. I'm in heaven. Myersjessee Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 The Club M is all around smaller....a little smaller then the Yamato. The Reppu is larger then the Yammie and the Club M. The Club M is much closer to the Yammie in scale...(for what thats worth) I like the Reppu FP's better...but the Club M better otherwise. Quote
AlphaHX Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 How is the Repptu VF-11 Battroid? I was considering getting one but I've never seen one built before so I dont know how accurate or even what it looks like. Is it posable? Does it use poly caps? Hows the details? Quote
Sweet-1 Posted February 10, 2005 Author Posted February 10, 2005 The details are really sharp, but I worry about how the FP's and legs will look when assembled. They might be a little too large proportionally. The Club-M isn't a little smaller, it's alot. the Repptu's Fast packs without thrusters measure 3 1/4 X 1 1/8 Vs 2 5/8 X 7/8 for the Club-M. It comes with white polycaps, and looks to be semi-posable. I was going to pose them together in a diorama, but I doubt it will look right now. But all told it's (Repptu) is an awesome kit, I'm still very happy with it. My camera is at work on my desk, but I'll post some pics tommorrow. Lonnie Quote

AlphaHX Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 WOW! That is a HUGE size difference... geez... Nice kits Lonnie. I have the club m vf-11 myself. Really really nice kit. I should get myself the repptu vf-11 battroid. Which one are you planning to build first? Quote
Sweet-1 Posted February 11, 2005 Author Posted February 11, 2005 Definately the Battroid. I have big plans for the fighter. I want to finish some of the other unfinished models first, but with an incentive like that I may actually finish some this year. Lonnie Quote
