aarbain Posted September 19, 2003 Posted September 19, 2003 Hi everyone, I just got myself the 1/48 low. I noticed that in the box picture, there are turbines next to the air intakes. However, on my toy, it seems that there are air-vents in the air intakes instead. Looking at the pictures posted in the forum also, I did not see the turbines. Anyone know what happend? ~~A~~ Quote
twinmoons Posted September 19, 2003 Posted September 19, 2003 (edited) The vents are removable!!! Once you remove them you'll find the turbines BTW, congrats on getting the low-vis. That's one awesome piece of art! Edited September 19, 2003 by twinmoons Quote
Sebastian Posted September 19, 2003 Posted September 19, 2003 That was funny. By the way you can store the spare covers inside the missile box. The cover is also removable. The Low Vis is a real lovely piece!!! Enjoy it! Quote

trueblueeyes Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 Thanks all.I guess the instructions booklet was not clear on this. Or is it bcos I don't read Japanese ~A~ Ah, don't feel bad about that. When I got my first 1/48, I actually put the stickers for the raised air intakes on the intakes themselves...Instead of where they should be (which is on the "roof" of the intake shaft to simulate open and folded back intakes) And I wish I had pics of the 1/60 VF-1A that my sister-in-law attempted to transform without removing the legs! Not pretty, was that one! Quote
al0324 Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 actually, if you read the reviews on this website, some parts become self explanatory. go Mworld! Quote
