I'm sure most people would be thrilled if it got canned, but I for one still want to see it completed. I haven't heard any news of any kind. At least the IMDB page doesn't say it's been halted:

WETA Digital were doing the effects, and they're the FX house Peter Jackson set up for the Lord of the Rings films. AFAIK, thats as far as his involvement goes.

I doubt there will be any updates to this for a looooooooong time. It was in initial pre-development (concept art) phase, that was it. They hadn't even done studio shopping yet.

I thought ADV is releasing the pre-production stuff to build up hype so they can get funding for the project. Have they gotten enough funding already?
