captain america
So cap, after this what would be the next project. I hope is a convertion/add on part for Hase's Battroid kit.-d Well there are at least 2, maybe 3 different kits on the drawing board for the next release. I'll have to confer with Monkey-sama to see which one we'll tackle next. It won't be for a while though, since the Tachi will be keeping me quite busy. Be warned, though. 2 of the 3 projects are Macross items

Grr... i knew i shouldve sold my arm and leg when i had the chance! Great great job. If I was a bigger gits sac fan, I would buy these things in a heartbeat for $75 and even $100. For RESIN kits, imo, rob and john's prices have been crazy cheap. Not cheap in the sense that I have money lying around all over the damn place to buy them. But compared to the other resin kits... hell yeah theyre cheap! Edited January 25, 2005 by AlphaHX
Godzilla
Damn it. I got those GitS:SAC trading gashapon figures so I can get that Tachikoma. They are a funny bunch. If I can paint worth a damn, I would love to get them.
Godzilla
BTW, are the "eye" AKA three dot on the white bulb, are they pre drilled, painted, or you need to do them yourself?
captain america
Hi Godzilla. The eye pods are separate, molded in white, with the three "eye" camera indentations pre-drilled. Would you expect any less from me? As for your PM, Rob can help you with shipping issues.
EXO
How about the money shot that shows us where the fourth eye pod goes...
Godzilla
You guys need to add another accessory like puting the gatling gun instead of the cannon for it. Oh, BTW thanks for the reply.
captain america
Hi Godzilla. A gatling gun and a longer grenade launcher (with removeable cover) would be part of a detail upgrade kit that could be made available provided that the base model sells well. So what does "selling well" equates to?
captain america
Selling out the intended run of 50, and hopefully demand for a second run.

Neova
Sweet Caroline! Captain, is it posable? Can ball joints be added to most the little feet?
VF-17
I demand a second run!
captain america
I demand a second run! ...And I demand a first run Hi Neova. Actually, the kit as is was designed without poseable joints for stability's sake & price control, but as per Fulcy's earlier posting in the thread, Yellow Submarine's acrylic ball-joints look like they'd be a perfect supplement to anyone who'd like to make the kit poseable. fulcy
as soon as I get mine, I'm going to figure out if indeed they'd work, and what size would be sufficient. Stay tuned!

EXO
I just recieved the yellow sub ball joints from Bariaburu Faita... Thanks Howard! This particualr size is perfect for the legs... it's almost as if the Cap predesigned it for these joints. I'm making this mod for Godzilla, I'll post more as I progress. Cap awesome product. I love it. Too bad I can't afford the regult because based on this, it'll be perfect!
captain america
Hi Exo, thanks for the vote of confidence... I do my best. If anyone needs any Tachikoma models, just PM Rob or Myself, we still have some left.
olivers
From the picture it looks like TS44 is the blue for the Tachi, did you paint the grey bits as I'm just putting together an order and wondered what the closest grey available is. Edited March 11, 2005 by olivers
EXO
Don't ever trust the color on the monitor. The parts are molded in color and while the blue is consistent in the 2 kits I received, the grays were different on each kit. But they are consistent within the kit. captain america
I actually painted all the grey parts dull aluminium... Which was basically just Tamiya's chrome silver spray can which I then dull-coated with micro-flat. The "ball" joints I left shiny
