SuperHobo Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Of course you can, but you can't drink al-ki-hall to celebrate your happiness. And since the hulkbuster is so big you can use him as a drinking buddy or a wingman! Hey ladies meet my friend buster. Quote
SuperSenpai Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I don't really collect Hot Toys, but I sometimes scan the auctions to see if anyone is selling one on the cheap (unboxed, minor damage, etc). I've noticed this one listing that keeps popping up every so often. The listing is always the same, an Iron Man Mark 42 figure for $100 o.b.o. shipped. Every time it's up, the seller is a different account located in a different part of the country. I figure it's got to be a scam of some kind, either knock off figures or listing it as a Movie Masterpiece figure when it's really from the cheaper Power Pose line. But part of me is tempted to roll the dice and see what happens. I figure eBay's buyer protection policy will cover me in the event it's a fraudulent seller. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hot-Toys-1-6-MMS197D02-Diecast-Series-Iron-Man-3-Mark-XLII-42-IN-STOCK-/191473341501?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item2c94b3543d What do you all think? xrentonx Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Don't do it. It's too good to be true and the guy has zero feedback. It's a hassle not worth taking, imho. Quote

Gakken85 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 You could paypal me $100 bucks if you're itching to throw it away haha Quote
DarrinG Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I don't collect these but I'd love to get my son the Rocket Racoon . . . Quote
xrentonx Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I got Rocket and Groot two pack on order. Quote
DarrinG Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I saw that double-pack on BBTS - pretty pricey! Let us know how durable RR is - my 7 year old is pretty rough on things. Maybe I'd buy him and pack it away . . . Quote
xrentonx Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I have a quite a few HT figures and they tend to be...fragile Gotta be careful with the soft goods so they aren't "playable" exactly and can be easy to mess up. Maybe pack it away until he's older and can take good care of it. You probably just want to hunt down the all plastic action figure so he can bash that around until he's ready for the HT in any case. Quote
Gakken85 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Yeah, I've mentioned this on the 1/6 forum, but HT's quality control is highly overrated. Quote

Valkyrie Hunter D Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 I guess it was inevitable after the Band of the Hawk version, but now come the the Black Swordsman himself: 1/6 RAH Guts. Quote
Gakken85 Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 I saw that on HLJ. Not sure if I want one. Quote
ErikElvis Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Theres something off with his arms but it still looks pretty good. Im 75% thinking I'm going to get him. Quote
Valkyrie Hunter D Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Well, with a release month of October you have plenty of time to fully decide in buying. His angry head would be so much better if only the whites of his eyes can be seen. Quote

If you scroll through some of the pictures it shows that it is possible for the angry head to just show the white of his eyes. Nice nod to the manga art there. Quote
Gakken85 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Ultron's face is such a frakking fail man. Much too human for my tastes. Cool figure but screw that. haha Quote
ErikElvis Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Waiting on this to show up. Im not sure what its from but the figure really interested me. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=PHC10062&mode=retail Quote

Im not sure what its from but the figure really interested me. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=PHC10062&mode=retail shi1.jpg I remember reading a couple of the comics way back when. As for the fig, for some reason, the face keeps reminding me of Zhang Ziyi. Quote
EXO Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 Is that Zang Ziyi as Shi? Did anyone ever buy those books. I bought the first one but didn't think of going back for the rest. Quote
xrentonx Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 This was popular during the 90's bad girl comic book fad. I remember Shi Quote
UN Spacy Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I remember Shi...pretty sure I still have the first issue too. Quote

Murphy Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Cool, the only thing missing to that figure is 1/6 scale bricks of blue sky. Quote
Gakken85 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I am a breaking Bad fan. But I don't want a 1/6th Walter haha Quote
xrentonx Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Tailoring on the clothes look off (maybe it's just me) but I really like the headsculpt. I would buy that parted out. Quote

Mechapilot77 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 eerily realistic. wow. blown away. its nice that 3zero is getting some nice licenses. they are still rasonably priced for 1/6 and not insane like hot toys. lets hope the success doesn't go to their heads. Quote
