and my first macross "kit", a custom of a matchbox spartan (approx. 1/72 scale). On the right, the original toy, and the custom on the left

At the time, I didn't find some macross models !

wow thats a really good looking minmay I haven't seen for a long time that actually looks like the macross minmay.

very nice work my friend i also like the Minmay and the Yf-21 as well. by the way your thread title is "my last models" i hope it is not your last i would love to see more down the line.

Thank you guys. Got a camera for Xmas so...

For sure it won't be my last models, :D I have a lot to build again... need only more time (4 or 500 years ! :huh: )

As I tought that Minmay is awesome :)

Did you modified the Minmay kit or is built straight out of the box? And the kits(all) are hand painted or airbrush painted?

Thanks, that's my first experience with a 1/6 scale figure. I usually makes some 1/72 and some few 1/35 military figures. I will try to do more. I have bought the other arii boxes but this model of minmay seems to be the coolest (the head with helmet of the hikaru model is really ugly...and need hard customs)

I add some few parts to be accurate to the drawing on the box:

- the clear shawl. The solid one in the box is so ugly and massive

- the ear-ring (nothing in the box)

- change the mike

- add some locks !

I use aztec airbrush,...but not easy... I prefer hand brush. I finish the kit with some "weathering"
