scand Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 That's really nice! What type of paints did you use to get beige just right? It has a very clean look to it! Quote
Omega One Posted January 16, 2005 Author Posted January 16, 2005 Hi Scand..... First I preshaded the panel lines in black and then I used a mix of MM enamel sand FS 33531 and Humbrol enamel gloss white 22. Cheers Quote
scand Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Hi Scand.....First I preshaded the panel lines in black and then I used a mix of MM enamel sand FS 33531 and Humbrol enamel gloss white 22. Cheers I was looking at the mm sand the other day and thought it might look to beige in color. I ending up buying mm light ivory. I thought I would try that out. It may be to light though. Maybe I'll pick up the sand aswell and try mixing the two. thanks for the info. Quote
zeo-mare Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 excellent work i love the very clean look of this kit, i cannot wait to see your others. Quote
promethuem5 Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Thats a really pretty bid mate.... I love the color. For mine, which I am working on.... I was planning on basing with a lightish tan and drybrushing with Citadel 'Bleached Bone" I was initially going to just use the bleached bone color, but after getting the Yammie YF-19, I realized that it is a bit darker. Real nice job, keep up the great work. I cant wait to see your 1D... should be neat to see how you do the orange. Quote
Gabe Q Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 BTW I will post the pics of my VF-1D soon I can't wait to see the 1D! Great work! Quote
