Aurora-7 Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 (edited) I'm guessing a VF-21 (maybe even a -22) battroid conversion kit for the Hasegawa fighter model. Do I get a free one if I guessed right? Edited January 7, 2005 by Aurora-7 Quote
goldenboy_forever Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Um a wonderfestival conversion kit for the hasegawa yf-21 to be in gerwalk mode. From Rich What is it?????? Quote
jipe Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 OUAHH launch arm + YF 21 legs with hands (or VF 22 ?) !!!!!!!!! I want I want I want !!! Quote
Myersjessee Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 mmmmm.... Dont be a tease...do tell... Quote
robokochan Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 I know.... It's a bunch of resin pieces on a cutting mat. Quote
Bariaburu Faita Posted January 7, 2005 Author Posted January 7, 2005 (edited) That was easy. As most guessed it is a battloid conversion kit for the Hasegawa VF-22S with parts for the YF-21 as well. Look closely at the heads. Edited January 8, 2005 by Bariaburu Faita Quote
Bariaburu Faita Posted January 7, 2005 Author Posted January 7, 2005 These parts might have been mistaken for a launch arm Quote
macroadster Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Sweet kit! What will be the price range for this kit? I would love to start working on a YF-21. It appears that the kit is a fixed pose kit, is it not? After the conversion, it's not possible to transform back or is it? Keep us updated. Quote
wwwmwww Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 WOW!!! Very nice. May I ask who's making this kit? Is it the same group that made the Gerwalk conversion kit this past summer who's name escapes me at the moment? Carl Quote
AlphaHX Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Must... have... now... That is REALLY cool! Where do I sign up to get one? I hope theres a YF-19 conversion sooner or later too. If hasegawa isnt going to do it! I hope someone else will! Quote
neptunesurvey Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Interesting idea? Will this be a Wonderfest exclusive or available on MW? Quote
Myersjessee Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Wow! Great detail...love the time they spent on the guts from behind. I second Carl's question...whose kit is this? Quote
Bariaburu Faita Posted January 8, 2005 Author Posted January 8, 2005 This will be a Wonderfest item, by Gokigen-Seimetsu/Eminence, the same people who did the YF-21 gerwalk conversion kit. Quote
Myersjessee Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Wow....very nice work! Once again I'll note I wish I could go to WF! Quote
Knight26 Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Very very nice, now if it were only fully variable too, lol. Quote

I remember he said 3 more months last time I was there.... Is it ready? It was a Wave 1/100 scale VF-17D Battroid with FAST Packs. Yes, it's finished a few weeks ago, although the guy is still working on my custom Milia type Bandai 1/65 scale VF-17S toy. I'll post pics of the completed Wave kit soon. Graham Quote

G-Man, please post some pics!!! Will you give it to me as a B-Day Present??? I will be there in H.K. soon, that will be the perfect moment for me to go and steal your VF 17D Quote
Bariaburu Faita Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 It has come to my attention that there are some of you who wanted the Gokigen-Seimetsu/EminencE battloid conversion kit for the 1/72 Hasegawa VF-22s but do not have it. This is very unfortunate, and could have been easily avoided. The whole reason I made this thread is so that everyone would have advance notice of what would be showing up at the next Wonderfest. Everyone had plenty of time to contact your prefered seller (Me, Noel, Seichi, Valk009, etc,...) and have that person secure one for you. Several people contacted me to buy things for them at wonderfest, and I did. Had more people contacted me, I could have gotten more. Simply posting that you want something, and hoping that a seller decides to pick one up for you, not even knowing if you are willing to pay for it, is not a very reliable way to go about aquiring rare items where the demand exceeds the supply. After the event is over, it becomes a sellers market. You will most likely see the item on ebay. By taking the initiative, and contacting a seller ahead of time, you have greatly increased the chance of getting your item. Quote
007-vf1 Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 so; it is possible you could get me one?...may be someone else wants to get rid of his..? Quote

Less than Super Ostrich Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Bariaburu Faita, I thought they limited how much you could by at Wonderfest usually. That's the impression I got from Noel's posts in the past. Quote

To answer some questions, no it's not variable, no it's not poseable and no there won't be any recasts of mine. Edited March 16, 2005 by Grayson72 Quote
Bariaburu Faita Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 Everything I got at wonderfest is long gone now. There is no "Official" blanket one product per customer rule at wonderfest. Dealers can sell as much of a single item as they wish. They can also make their own more limiting rules, such as the lottery for the Liquid Stone YF-19. There is an Unofficial one per customer tradition, enforced by the person standing behind you who wants to buy some also. As the southern saying goes "Git thea fustest, with thu mostes" Quote
Myersjessee Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Well...thanks for offering to help us folks stuck in the US. Quote
AlphaHX Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Thanx for helping us out. I actually wasnt aware you were getting items for people or I wouldve asked. Oh well, I dont mind. I've been spending too much on other Macross stuff. Shouldnt they be there again for the summer wonderfestival? If theres anyone whos going to it, they should let people know and those who want the kit can get it then. Quote
