zeo-mare Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 i agree i like the way this one looks, what sort of flaws? do you have pics or a rundown? thanks chris Quote
wolfx Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 i agree i like the way this one looks, what sort of flaws? do you have pics or a rundown?thanks chris Cause: 1) It doesn't transform. You take it apart and reassemble on the man. 2) Some parts keep falling off due to parts not fitting nicely, namely the "gauntlets" and the shoulder pads. 3) Ironically because of those loose parts, your AMDriver's articulation is almost reduced to nil. He can just stand there looking cool. And generally after transform, he can't move much. Quote
DARKWIND Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 (edited) Sure they have issues (1st gen moto-bisars), but order the white one. The bugs have been worked out of it. . . Also there is a mod you can do using parts from another AMDriver fig, I just can't remember which one right now. . . Gotta do a search over at ToyboxDX's BBS for that info. . . They have a pretty long thread on those toys, problems and fixes for most. . . All good info too. . . Also, I suggest if you order from HLJ pay for express shipping. . . The tracking on it alone is worth it Edited January 6, 2005 by DARKWIND Quote
Sam Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 I have the first one as well, and cant get the shoulder pads to stay on, or more importantly, the wheels, but if the white one is fixed, thats great, cuz had it on pre order at HLJ! cool stuff to look at though, if for no other reason than it reminds me of Mospeada Mecha. Bariaburu Faita Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Yeah the white and red color variant of the Moto Bisar is outstanding. They fixed the shoulder armor problem. The Ragna figure also is a color variant, clear red. Best of all he has both a helmet head and normal head that you can switch. Quote
Feyd-Rautha Posted January 6, 2005 Author Posted January 6, 2005 (edited) any links for this white version??? HLJ is BACK-ORDERED, uggghghggggggrrrrr any other reputable dealers have these???? thanks for info ! Edited January 6, 2005 by Feyd-Rautha Quote
DARKWIND Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 (edited) I'll keep an eye out for you also. . . But since it a yellow reorder at HLJ you might want to give it a try. . . They have been really good at moving their orders as of late. . . I finished out my collection through them, and it was worth it. . . Edited January 6, 2005 by DARKWIND Quote

This line looks awesome but in the end loose joints poorly fitting parts, and kinda crummy plastic keep me from loving it. Quote
Feyd-Rautha Posted January 6, 2005 Author Posted January 6, 2005 ....you know , I feel like i'm trying too score some ancient-vintage toy when looking for this moto-bisar...orange or white version. >>>>kinda strange for a BRAND NEW toy line ..is'nt it? man,why did i get into japanese toys... Quote

The Moto Bisar is listed on the bottom of the page as:Amdriver Bisar Series 02: Griffon (Konami). It is the original one though and not the white recolor. I am very happy with mine, although I admit that most of the time they just sit in my display case. You might consider e-mailing them if you want to see if they will be carrying the white one later. They are usually pretty quick at answering questions. Happy hunting! Melissa Quote
trueblueeyes Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 wow! what are those? A set of action figures produced by Konami for an anime series called Get Ride! Amdriver. The specific figure we are talking about is an orange bike that can transform into armor for one of the figures. (Amdriver Bisar Series 02: Moto Bisar "Griffon".) Quote
