macroadster Posted January 6, 2005 Author Posted January 6, 2005 I rushed a little to finish this model by today. It is too bad that I don't have more time to work on this project. This is the model before it has been weathered. Quote
macroadster Posted January 6, 2005 Author Posted January 6, 2005 Here is the look from another angle. Quote
macroadster Posted January 6, 2005 Author Posted January 6, 2005 I used charcoal + dish washer soap again to weather the model. Hopefully, the skull will look good after weathering.. Quote
macroadster Posted January 6, 2005 Author Posted January 6, 2005 Here it is...finished! I feel sorry that I don't have time to pay more attention to this kit. However, most of the parts wroked out alright. This kit does not supply any decal, but I might buy a optional decal from ebay to make it look even better when I have the chance.. Quote

nightmareB4macross Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Nice work Macroadster!!! I like the skull, it almost looks as the pilot ripped the head off a Zen, and placed the pront portion of it on his heatshield as a trophy. Really cool. Quote

zeo-mare Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 (edited) excellent work, what did you do to fix the paint on the leg? i saw on the page before that it got messed up because the tape was not on tight enough. Edited January 8, 2005 by zeo-mare Quote
macroadster Posted January 8, 2005 Author Posted January 8, 2005 excellent work, what did you do to fix the paint on the leg? i saw on the page before that it got messed up because the tape was not on tight enough. I manually painted white paint over the black paint several times. It's harder to cover white paint over the black paint because white paint were more transparent. It ended up more work than it was supposed to be. Quote
