Armor Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 Hey all, I ordered this one and I have to say I like this style of gundams alot. Can some one tell me how tall these 1/100 scale are? Thanks Guys MSA_0011_S_Gundam_Other_picture_A_1.htm Quote
Armor Posted December 30, 2004 Author Posted December 30, 2004 Sorry I don't know why the pic isn't loading. Quote
Radd Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 I don't know why you uploaded an HTML file to your post when you could have just pasted in a link right to the image. I dug it out of the HTML for ya. Here's the Gundam in question: http://www.1999hobbysearch.com/dbimages/us...g/10027748a.jpg Quote
Armor Posted December 30, 2004 Author Posted December 30, 2004 Thanks Radd. I've got the pic I just want to know how big it is. Quote
Montarvillois Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 The 1/100 EX-s Gundam is pretty big compared to the other 1/100 line-up. If you compare it to a RGM-GM for instance, it'll look like a midget. I'd say it is about 10 inches tall compared to about 7-8 for the RGM-GM Quote
Armor Posted December 30, 2004 Author Posted December 30, 2004 Thanks Montarvillois. Is the MSA-001 EX-S the same size. That sucker is about $100. And it's 1/100 scale. I still have to get it. Quote
zeo-mare Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 The Ex-s is the biggest of the MG kits besides the Perfect zeong. you will be very happy with it ,the S-Gundam is virtually the same kit it is just missing some of the extra armor pieces, so they are the same size. the EX-s is a better purchase it is the same thing plus extra parts and a really nice display stand. i will take a picture tonight along side my PG Strike so you can see the size, i will take a pic of both the S-gundam and EX-S gundam. Montarvillois Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 Thanks Montarvillois. Is the MSA-001 EX-S the same size. That sucker is about $100. And it's 1/100 scale. I still have to get it. I think the only difference is the equipment. The gundam "body" is the same size but the one I see assembled when I go to my local anime store is HUGE by regular MG standards and I think tht's the one you are interested in. It is with very minor differences like the image below: I think it also fully transforms into the starship below. Hope this helps Quote
Vince Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 I think S would be about 10 inches tall and Ex-S would be al little taller. not sure, haven't open mine yet. Quote
zeo-mare Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 (edited) no they are both the same size , they have the same body just some of the armor peices and backpack are different i will take pics of mine soon. chris Edited December 30, 2004 by zeo-mare Quote
Montarvillois Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 I have another image I found of the EX-s that you might like Quote

zeo-mare Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 S-gundam and EX-S gundam they are the same size but the EX-S is heavier and bulkier due to the extra armor and stuff get the EX-S over the S gundam they are the same kit, but the EX-S has more stuff and looks better. chris Quote
zeo-mare Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 please dont "F" with me, unless you want to see my gun out of all the MG kits this is one of the best Quote
zeo-mare Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 most people do not realize how big this kit is, it has a huge backpack and tailfin, and has a very hefty feel to it. Quote
Armor Posted December 30, 2004 Author Posted December 30, 2004 Zero, thanks. It's a real nice size. And yes! The more stuff the better. Thats way I like them the most. I like big obnoxious guns and armor. Quote
zeo-mare Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 (edited) EX-S: Ohh please do not tell me you want to pick a fight Alpha: who me??!! heck no, please dont shoot me, i am a Toynami i am to weak to fight anyone. Armor Posted December 30, 2004 Author Posted December 30, 2004 Congrads. Sorry about the spelling of your name dude. Know anything about the MG MSN-04 Sazabi. I want him too Quote
Graham Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Just beware than ankle joints on the S & EX-S MG kits. Snapped mine on about the third transformation. After that I decided to stick with the the GFF versions . Graham Quote
GRAND CANNON Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 (edited) Montarvillois - Nice line-art pic, more where that came from? Zeo - Nice pics of your kit(s)!!! Man that looks nice. How'd you do the panels? Did you do any painting? And that G-System site is NUTS!!! Damn, I wish I had the balls ( and $$ ) to attempt any of what they have to offer!! (As my wife looks over my shoulder and says "If you were that bad, we'd be divorced." You single guys think it's easy, huh?) Have any of those kits, Z? Oh, and if Zeo doesn't have the Sazabi (which I'm sure he does), here's a small look at my paltry example standing next to my Nu below; I like it, although the shoulder caps need to be tightened to allow for holding the shield decently.
