Myriad Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 How many LP's and EP's are there? Here is one Quote
Myriad Posted December 24, 2004 Author Posted December 24, 2004 (edited) Can any one else contribute LP, EP or CD pics? Edited December 24, 2004 by Myriad Quote
Beltane70 Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 That's a pretty nice selection you got there. I have the 2nd LP pictured and wasn't even sure if there were any others. If I come across anything else, I'll be sure to post it! Quote
Myriad Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 (edited) Another one I grabbed. Edited January 23, 2005 by Myriad Quote
Solscud007 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 A second I have that one. There is another one that I have that has and Orguss song in it but it is a compilaton of anime songs. I will take a pic of it when I go home later this week. Quote
Boxer Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 (edited) I forget where it's located out there (no image) But a CD DOES exist! It's by Animage, code 30ATC-154. Edited January 23, 2005 by Boxer Quote

Mercurial Morpheus Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Those are pretty nice. I love Orguss. I just wish someone would pick up where US Renditions left off. Quote
Hikuro Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 You know I've contemplated on wanting to watch Orguss, th eonly problem is I can only find the sequal, never the actual oldies TV series. Quote
Gui Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 This one is like a precious gem: you aways hear of it but you can't find it... Quote
Hikuro Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 I can find bootlegs, the trouble is do I REALLY wanna waste 80 bucks and get horrible subs? Quote
Mercurial Morpheus Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 I know Anime SkyScraper plans on ripping it, when I don't know. Quote
Hikuro Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 (edited) Aren't they gone? I remember they got into some trouble recently.... YEP looks like they're down, can't get on their site, and besides I thought their translations were almost as good as those of Bootlegs regardless... Edited March 1, 2005 by Hikuro Quote
Mercurial Morpheus Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 (edited) Ummm, their translations were those of the bootlegs. They cleaned some stuff up, but I think they only released one pure fansub. They barely qualified to be listed on Animesuki. I'm hoping Central Anime might get around to it when they finish with M7, LoGH, Touch, or Yamato. Their IRC channel's still up. Hikuro Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Don't forget they also bought the Region 1 DVD's that were anime released in the states and subbed them They did it to Megazone 23 and I think they also did Full Metal Panic. Quote
Gui Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 Someone knows if they'll come back one of these days? 'Cause I'd really like to download ZZ Gundam: I tried their .torrent several times since last week and it always failed... Quote
Hikuro Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 Blah on ZZ...anyways back on topic What's the music like anyways? I sorta see Orguss as being one of those "It looks like Macross.....it smells like Macross.....hmmmmm" like everyone thought with Megazone 23 back in the days. (I think I blame HG for that...just as an excuse) So does it carry a soap opera ocrhestra feel like Macross? Or is it something more techno popish or something which I don't think I can see in something like this. In some sorta way I get some sorta voltron meets Gal Force feel....sorta : / Quote
Gui Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 I saw only a bunch of episodes a while back and it didn't give me any Macross-like feeling personnally, rather something Mospeada-like though more sophisticated IMO Quote
Myriad Posted March 6, 2005 Author Posted March 6, 2005 Music a mix of Techno and orchestra. Orguss is a lighter show then the other 3 from the same. Lots of funny stuff in it. Then there is the Mu. They kick ass! Quote
Myriad Posted March 6, 2005 Author Posted March 6, 2005 Could the show really be worked into Robotech even with all of the sexual connotation? Quote
Mercurial Morpheus Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 Interestingly enough, someone did rip one of the HK sets. ILA released three episodes recently. Shame they barely fixed the subs. It looks like all they fixed was some names. The translations aren't as engrishy as some of ASS' work, but subbing "Vanessa" as "Bulox"? Fortunately, they're soft subs. Just rip the subs out in Virtual Dub, fix what you want, then readd them. Quote
Hikuro Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 I'd do that if I could find a place to get a set that I can see as Legit... Quote
Pat S Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 I bought a bunch of ebay recently, here's a rare one... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 Quote

Renato Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I really like the ending theme, "Kokoro wa Gypsy". I can't find any Orguss soundtracks around, though, so does anyone have any MP3s or links to any? Thanks. Quote
Mercurial Morpheus Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I love that song too. I found the MP3 once, but I can't remember what disc I burned it on. It's pretty rare. Quote
