bsu legato Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 I'm leaning toward the B&W line art. The color "mug shot" art, even if it is official, seems too short and doesn't match the height seen in the show in any scene I can think of. Quote
EXO Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 (edited) Actually, the scale of Cap's model is closer to the B&W art than the color one. According to the pic in Rob's site the top of the front part of the tachi is twice the height of a Tamiya bottle at a normal stance. Sorry Rob, had to link from your site... And I took a pic of a 1/18 scale microman next to 2 bottles of Tamiyas which is comparable to a 6' man at 1/18 scale, and it's exactly that height... Edited December 31, 2004 by >EXO< Quote
Myersjessee Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 so...based on that...a Tamiya bottle now becomes a unit of measure. I like that!!!!!...instead of 1/18th scale...its "2 Tamiya" scale. the base of the scale being the height of a 6' human...so 1:1 scale is now (ballpark) "24 Tamiya" scale. Think of it...this is a huge breakthrough for us for ease...and a major marketing tool for Tamiya. Go forth and spread my wisdom oh Padewans... Quote
