jorawar_b Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Hello everyone, I am writing this to all who have enjoyed the wonderful booster kit and launch rail that have been made for us to enjoy and add to our collection. I have always been a fan of the Southern Cross series and always wanted to add an AJAC variable to my collection, in talking to John Moscato via e-mail, he said it can happen if I can get at least 50 people to commit to buying the kit. I do not know any details but if I can show him that there are at least 50 people then maybe we can make this a reality. So please to everyone who wouldn’t mind adding an AJAC to there collections, please respond to this poll.-1/48 or 1/72 -perfect transformable (@ $280.00)-Build-it-in-desired-mode (@ $200)- Quote
Jasonc Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Southern Cross/ Robotech series 2 needs some love. I'd buy a perfect variable AJAC fighter that transforms, but I would like it in 1/60 scale. I know that's not too much of a popular scale, but if no 1/60 scale, then 1/72. This would be such an awesome kit. If it's made, I'm down for one and would commit to one. Quote
Penguin Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Heck, I'd settle for a 1/72 fixed-mode (1/48 would be nicer), but I imagine John would run into the same issue he had with the Legios he was working on. Won't Harmony Gold just quash the thing like they did the Legios? Quote
Graham Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Ahem....wrong forum. It ain't a toy and it ain't Macross. Moved to the Other Anime section. Graham Quote
CoryHolmes Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 (edited) I'd be all over that. An AGACs kit would rock just slightly more than a VHT kit would rock. Can definitly count me in on a 1/60th, fixed-mode or transformable. I'd take either. EDIT: Actually, 1/72 would be hideously small for a perfect transformable. If it had to be one scale or the other, I'd take 1/48th. Edited December 17, 2004 by CoryHolmes Quote
MSW Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Perfect Transform Actualy it is possable, not anime accurite possable....but completely possable without parts swaping...although for strength I'd think some metal would be involved. I had started some crude transformation plans for scratch building this exact mecha last year...I'll have some time after Christmas to dig them out, scan them in, and post 'em if anyone wants... Mechleader Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 I wouldn't mind a 1/48th or 1/72! Doesn't even have to transform! How about the tank as well! Quote

Doctor Paragon Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 I'm down for a perfect. $280 is pricey, but double the price for a 1/48 isn't too steep. I just pray this doesn't take as long as the VB6 Konig kit project. Quote
Spiff Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 Cool Project! Put me on the list. If it can get made in 1/48 scale that would be awesome! John is such a kick butt sculpter this should come out great! Quote
Gatillero PR Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 I'm in for a transformable one, for me doesn't matter if had to be swaping parts. Quote
Jasonc Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 1/60 OR 1-72 perfect transformable. To have one, I'd fork out the dough. Bring it on! Quote
