VortexVFX Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 If not, they should be. I mean, it's been years since I've watched those shows. I really miss them. They should also make a DVD of the old He-Man show as well. Quote
areaseven Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 As of now, they're not yet on R1 DVD. The Australians are lucky, though. Madman Entertainment has released Voltron on R4 DVD. Quote
Cyclone Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Unless your a Vehicle Voltron fan, then Madman is certainly no help either... Cyc Quote
JB0 Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Unless your a Vehicle Voltron fan, then Madman is certainly no help either...Cyc If I recall, the "creators" let the Dairugger 15 license lapse, and don't want to pay the asking price for a new one. So no vehicle Voltron ever. Sucks, don't it? Quote
HWR MKII Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 they have the lion type voltron on R2 DVD over here in the uk. Quote
Effect Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Yea, like said Madman is release Voltron in R4. The second boxset is out I believe. Its also out in the UK as well I believe though I think they released the Vehicle Voltron episodes first by mistake. Or I could have heard wrong but either way its out in R2 as well. WEP is dragging its feet when it comes to the R1 release of the dvds though. Quote
VortexVFX Posted December 13, 2004 Author Posted December 13, 2004 they have the lion type voltron on R2 DVD over here in the uk. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!! Any place where I could get them? Quote

Nilrem Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk doesn't seem to have the voltron DVD on the site. Play.com have it for £5.99 delivered if you're in the UK otherwise Amazon.co.uk and a few others have it. Quote
Cyclone Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 http://www.madman.com.au/voltron/ Voltron Vol 3 (Green) due 23rd Feb 05 And I know the reasons why no Vehicle, just statements like "release no Voltron/80's mecha fan can do without" get up my nose, especially when the non-liking of Lion is used as proof of moron-hood... 007-vf1 Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 I used to love the Thundercats...where the heck is the DVD ??!!! Quote

Cyc Just mentioning it in case someone forgot/missed it. Personally, I'd like to see both shows out there again. With the option to view them in their original form. ... But then, I'd also like to see them show up in Super Robot Wars. And that won't happen either. Quote
HWR MKII Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 send a email to forbidden planet they had it on the shel in the store so they may be able to grab it off the shelf even if it isnt on the site. Quote
