robokochan Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Wow! This is something that I haven't heard. Well if it is true and set in stone then I might be able to help everyone who wants one, and I can try to do 10% to 15% off. I will have to talk to my partner about it. If anyone is interested just PM me. Rob Quote
dr_vandermeer Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Is Previews going to carry this? Quote

Mechamaniac Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 damn it, all thiese toys coming out and then BAM!! yamato releases everything macrosswant one definatly Huh? - the only thing Yamato has on the horizon is the crap-tastic VF-0S super stackable, and the Koenig Monster. Unless you count the re-re-issue of the VF-1S but by now don't we all have at least one of those? I think their days of releasing "everything macross" have come to a close sadly. Quote
Godzilla Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 I think their days of releasing "everything macross" have come to a close sadly. I will not hear of it! They have to issue the 2 seater 1/48s. They have to... Don't they? Quote
JELEINEN Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 I want one. Going to have to start saving up. Quote
Opus Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 Ummm.... my pants just got really tight. Quote
JELEINEN Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 But is there an Arcadia as well? How about just doing all the Matsumoto ships! I'd love to have a set. Too bad I've heard a lot of bad things about the Yamato/Star Blazers miniatures, otherwise I'd be picking those up. Quote

Are speaking of the Space Battleship Matsumoto or all of the various series he had a design in. If you have concerns about the Museum of Leiji Matsumoto series, I can tell you that I am very satisified with them. While the older Yamato display pieces may have a few moving parts, Museum of Leiji Matsumoto pieces have a lot of detail, but prove extremely delicate. I need to take apicture of my collection, but check my reply at the "Likelihood of a BPX-01 re-release?, Please Bandai/Diamond.. say yes." thread for some pictures by other people. While long sold out, also check out Just Be Toys' Yamato selection for some pictures. Quote
lt.actionjackson Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 This is great news! I was starting to wonder which one of my limbs I'd have to sell to get one of these things. So, is anyone else getting them in besides HLJ? Quote
Dat Pinche Haro! Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 Monkey-N is taking orders... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=11925 and >EXO< mentioned Previews will be selling them too Quote

Anything is better than the NEXT ship in the SOP lineup. http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?BAN925523 I'd take an Andromeda over that ANYDAY. Quote

I took some quick and dirty pictures. Pardon the mess, I need to get my collection into a display case and they are just sitting in a spare room. Three on the right are the Museum of Leiji Matsumoto EDF battleship, Yamato and Andromeda. Three on the left are their 1980 toy predecessors (company name escapes me). Museum of Leiji Matsumoto DX versions of the Yamato and Andromeda Bandai SOC Yamato and the Museum of Leiji Matsumoto DX versions of the Yamato and Andromeda in the foreground Quote
JELEINEN Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Wow. Those look pretty sweet. How much do they generally go for? Quote
aarbain Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Wow great news! Is it confirmed that Previews will be bringing it in? At what price though? Quote
