Solscud007 Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 Hey Guys any one know what exactly are the japanese speaking when they talk in Zentradi? Is it another George Lucas job like the ewoks speaking Tagalog? or jsut gibberish? Quote
JB0 Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 I was under the impression it was a real made-up language, like klingons. Not that I'm the expert or anything. Quote
peter Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 Have you seen those loser trekkies talking Klingon? It sends chills up my spine watching them..... Quote
Skull Leader Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 From what I recall, it's a mixture of several languages put together... although I can't recall exactly which ones were used. Quote
Seven Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 Ewoks speaking Tagalog? Yeah, there were several parts where even my parents could make out a few scattered Tagalog words when I watched it as a kid. Although Lando's co-pilot always sounded like my uncle hitting up the karaoke after he had several beers in his system! Quote
Jester Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 http://unsd.macrossroleplay.org/zentraedilang.php All he words known or heard of in the various series and OVA's. Although it is missing two or three words from Fleet of the Strongest Women, which I have no idea what they mean. Most of the information is actually available from Egan Loo's site, and a few other free access locations and one or two books as well. Quote
ewilen Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 I don't see "dekalucha", but I'm guessing that it's from "de" = "not" and "kalucha" = "believable" (?). Zentradi reminds me a little of Finnish (at least as written) but since I don't know Finnish at all, I'm probably way out in left field. Quote
