while browsing around the net i happend to run across this, it kinda reminds me of the YF-19 with the way the wings sweep and such, but i think the 19's wings sweep in the opposite direction anyway here ya go. Switchblade

Old news. Read about it in the original PopSci article. One wonders if, given the ungainly nature of the aircraft presented in the story, the Switchblade was just made up as a diversion from the actual Bird of Prey.

Yeah old news, it was the cover story that Boeing planeted around the bird of prey to get people looking the wrong way. It also inspired *shudder* that "Talon" fighter in the upcoming Jessica Biel POS.
