I saved the box, and the MAXL appears to be overall pale pink. Very similar to Vierge. (I actually used Vierge as my painting basis--I know its scheme EXACTLY and I swear one of them copied the other--probably Vierge copied MAXL). Big thing to watch for is the hands. Chick-mechs always have white hands but black fingers, and pink wrists and elbows. (Vierge, Fei-Yen, MAXL)

This is slightly off-topic, and may never become relevant, but since I've been in a Hasegawa frenzy lately, I've been wondering about good ol' Sound Force.

Before, when I made the Bandai/Imai kits, I used flat paint for the Vf-1 series, and gloss for the Fire Valkyrie. For my Hase Valks, though, I've used Aqueous Hobby Color. Just in case a Hasegawa VF-19kai or MAXL ever comes out, I've been wondering how to differentiate them. I'm thinking flecked metallic hot rod colors...sound good, anyone?
