arrow Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 what's the best way to watch the series? just the 8 episodes? part of the 8 episodes & then the death&rebirth then the end of? Or any combination? Quote
lt.actionjackson Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 IMO, you're going to have to watch ALL of the eps and D&R and EOE to get the full effect. However, if you prefer happy endings you can stop at episode 26. Of course to me, that's like watching SDF:Macross and pretending DYRL and FB:2012 don't exist. Quote
UN Spacy Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 Make sure you're very drunk before watching End Of Evangelion. Quote
ComicKaze Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 (edited) On drugs and in depression. That's how the writer of Evangelion created the series so you should be in the same state or else you'll just end up f*cked up when you come out of finishing this twisted series that is overhyped, overrated, and perhaps a reason why Japanese teen suicide is so high. F360° Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 well, you can watch all the way to ep 24 then stop. Wait for a day, and on a nice day when everything is going well for you, a day that you feel stress free , you may continue the series. BUT make sure you have both movies ready before you start to watch ep25-26. Or you can do it this way,, watch the 2 movies then ep 25-26. But either way you should have both ready. If you just watch ep 25-26 , you nice day will turn to POO Quote
Ali Sama Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 eithe rpozac or get really stned and drunk, otherwise the plot will make NO sence to you Quote
arrow Posted October 28, 2004 Author Posted October 28, 2004 thanks for the info. But, what's up with the director's cut & the platinum edition? waste of money? Quote
Mercurial Morpheus Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 Watch the 26 episode series, then End of Eva. You can skip D&R, it's just a recap, with no real new info. The director cut is worthless, as the Platnium Edition will have the same stuff. Personally, I'm not even picking up that. The DC doesn't add that much. Quote
