Panzer Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5924596579&rd=1 just curious.. its a yammie and it transforms. kinda old news i know but just curious. Quote
JELEINEN Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 I think the general concensus has been that they weren't that great. Quote
NoSuchFile Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 (edited) I got one, never transformed it, and i probably never will, lost the manual overall the figure looks really good, exept that because it transforms, it can't pose since it has VERRY limited movements due to the heavy weight of the cape that's made out of rubber plastic. Just to add this, it's really great if you whant an escaflowne around, since you can't play with a figure that barely stays together Edited October 8, 2004 by NoSuchFile Quote
Nightbat Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 (edited) For an awkward design I think it was executed quite well some parts are a little loose, and stability/posability is limited, but not bad at all though at $42,- I'm not sure if it's still worth that much Edited October 8, 2004 by Nightbat® Quote
VF-19 Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 I have the Yammie Escaflowne, and for what it is, I really really like it. One of these days, however, I'm going to put a cloth cape on the back, simply because the rubber one blows goats. And I have proof. Quote
bandit29 Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Biggest piece of crap and most disappointing toy I've bought in awhile. Glad I sold it off. Its very hard to transform, the dragon mode looks bad, Guymelef mode has very limited articulation. The cape is too heavy and drags the arms down. Quote
Anubis Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 My only real gripe about the escaflowne figure is the plastic cape. Ugly, and it weighs down the shoulders. Coth would have netted it an A in my book, withoutit I give the toy a B. Still nice detail, and a very cheap price. Dragon looks cool if you have the space for it. I might get a second one day for that purpose if the price is right. Quote
Panzer Posted October 8, 2004 Author Posted October 8, 2004 interesting. i'm just hungry for more diecast transforming mecha. maybe i should just pick up the MP Optimus Prime. Quote
