Godzilla Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 (edited) Very imaginative indeed! Now I wonder if I should get the stand. Edited September 30, 2004 by Godzilla Quote
wolfx Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 THat's wayy!! Cool! Set up a few more launch arms in line and you'll have yourself a valk hangar. Quote
Guppy Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 haha, my first reaction to seeing your pic was that you were tricking us and just had the photo upside down! Quote
Greyryder Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 THat's wayy!! Cool! Set up a few more launch arms in line and you'll have yourself a valk hangar. Well, he's already got a valk hanger. Yeah, I'll show myself out.... Quote
Die, Alien Scum! Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 I just turned down a great deal for the stand.... now I got to get one... or four... Great job Kamineko! Exo, you must be psychic because you read my mind! Now quick, give me the winning numbers for the Mega Millions lottery! Nice work, Kameniko, you're courage to hang a 1/48 has inspired us all! Quote
nightmareB4macross Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 Very creative indeed!! (look behind the valky to the left) I think some one in the background fainted of disbelief... I think if I were to attempt something like this I would purchase a deeper display case and TRY toturn it into a valk hangar. Quote
Eternal_D Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 you a golfer too kamineko? I see you got some tees there, or is that used for something else? Quote
Kamineko Posted October 3, 2004 Author Posted October 3, 2004 you a golfer too kamineko? I see you got some tees there, or is that used for something else? Yeah those are tee's next to Basara. Haven't touched my clubs in so long my clubfaces are growing its own grass on em (should clean em)! Quote

Haven't touched my clubs in so long my clubfaces are growing its own grass on em (should clean em)! Rather than the tees, its the "baSARA" that caught my eye. That and the coccooned Alphonse. Quote
eugimon Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Huh, the base mode is pretty cool.. and that pic is most impressive, almost makes me wanna get one. almost. Quote
connor99 Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Yeah, the Yamato stand looks really good, but I guess for me, it's the price that kinda turned me off. If it happens to have the same price tag as that of a FLEXI-DISPLAY Stand, then I'll definitely buy one! Quote
Panzer Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Can you put a Bandai 1/55 on one of these stands? if so i'm getting one. Quote
Hurricane29 Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Its made for Yamato stuff, 48, 72, 60 scale. Quote
Panzer Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 yeah but are is there special holes or something that only let yamato valks fit on it? i didn't think so, has anyone tried to put one of their 1/55s on one of these? Quote

Panzer Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 i'd like to see them try. they'd get stuffed in my dresser drawers Kramer style and if they send a female represenative they can join me in my hot tub Kramer stye. Quote

If you do, Yamato reserves the right to come to your home and break the Chunky Monkey. Yamato won't need to go to your house. The stand barely is strong enough to hold a 1/60 (at an angle of course). The chunky monkey is heavy enough already for it to topple over anyways. DAMNED YAMMIE JOINTS!!! The stands ready to throw whatever's on them onto the floor anyways. I'm almost ready to glue them down . . . almost . . . Quote
Phren Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 Hanging a 1/48S like that? Not a chance, though I respect your intestinal fortitude to do so. No way, my cat would do a flying leap and bring that down in a second.. I would like to ask where you got that bubble for your patlbor though. I would like to get a few of those to protect some of my more fragile things.. I'd either need a handfull of small ones for my figures, or one big one for my 1/48 Zentraidi cat of death.. Quote

Heh I just overfeed my 30lb cat. I would be most impressed if he could even jump that high for it . . . The "bubble" is a glass dome from TAP Plastics (a west coast, US plastic fabrication company). They sell it along with acrylic bases. Quote
